Evening ladies! Not in a very chatty mood tonight but thought I would pop on for a quick hello. I think not sleeping well is really getting to me, so hopefully I can relax more tonight as I have a day off tomorrow...and only 9 days left at work.
SJ- Hugs for you. Rubbish timing about your car but at least you have tons to look forward to and take your mind off it this week.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
evening all, wow it's so quiet without Glam. Is everyone busy trying to evict their bumps?
Need to make something with pears as i bought to many so thinking of caramel upside down cake or similar, who knows what it will end up as lol
I'm around but been lurking over on the parent thread. Not joined in as yet though!
After my day I feel like baking brownies or something like that to cheer me up.... I'll let you know what I decide!Cheapskate wrote: »Have some magazine stitching to do & got some Christmas cookery books from the library to peruse - yummy! :rotfl:
My kitchen smells like Christmas as I have my Christmas cake in the oven!! Had the fruit soaking in brandy for the last couple of days and about to take it out of the oven in about 10 minutes! Fabulous!0 -

Thanks.
It could be so much worse so I'm going to stop complaining now!!!
Also about to put a pizza in the oven when my cake is done so that will cheer me up no end0 -
Well Ive just sorted out our 'collectables' trunk... what a load of money we have wasted over the years!!! I went through a beanie baby phase and bought the toy story beanies too, plus loads of other beano/chicken run/popeye stuff. None of it is very old or exciting though. Gonna see if any of it would sell on ebay now as a. the money would be nice and b. we have too much junk!!
Sorry to hear about ur car SJ.
32B - hope the docs change the meds and this helps.

Oh no SJ so sorry about your car, what a nightmare. Good news about the glider though, sounds like you did well there, and your grandad of course! Hope the weather stays ok-ish so the bus isn't too horrible this week
Xmas I really hope your friend gets well soon, how absolutely awful for her.
32b really hope things start looking up soon for your sister, the authorities really are useless at times.
Congrats on all being well at the scan FishcakeThe best feeling ever seeing them wiggling on the screen isn't it.
Oooh Fitz, Japanese, did you get sushi? I am dying to eat proper sushi again...mmm, keep trying to talk my other half into taking me so I can get the veggie bits and salivate over all the good stuff going round on the belt, think he thinks I've lost it.
Fatty I know what you mean about junk - hopefully you'll get something for it though, one mans junk is another mans treasure after all!! I've spent this evening emptying out boxes of stuff from when we moved...2 years ago  It's all going to the car boot tomorrow, 4 black bags of clothes, enough lampshades to deck out a mansion, an Xmas tree that's never been out of its box...how did I end up with all these things
Here's a question - I was given a lovely moses basket and rocking stand today, only the bedding is really horrid. Is it possible to buy all the bits and pieces like the material that goes around the edge and the hood seperate from the basket? I've tried searching online but not sure what you'd call it so not sure what to search forBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -

Oh my god, 2 hours and no posts to catch up on?! What's going on!!
Just been to take OH to work as borrowed sister's car. Was going to get up at 2am to go pick him up too to save on taxi fares but I'm just thinking to myself that I'm pregnant and really I should just concentrate on resting when I need to instead of worrying about a one off taxi for a tenner or so.0 -
Funny! Posts like buses tonight!! ha ha!0

Well I texted OH and asked him to get a taxi home tonight so I've decided my other Christmas cake can wait until tomorrow and I'm going to have an early night. Got myself an individual sachet of chocolate horlicks to try so might have that in a bit!0
