32b i thought i felt flutters at like, 10 weeks! I'm still convinced it was something to do with the pregnancy, but it did feel different again when i was about 16 wks and had the actual movements. This is baby #2 for me.

Been worrying about not feeling much movement, but i'm feeling something so don't think i need to run off to hospital or anything.
Supposed to see a cmw at 26wks according to my notes and haven't booked an appt yet  Well i did try to at GP's but she offered me on for 25+3 or something so i said should i not be 26 wks and she gave me the no for hosp to make it direct with them? V.strange. Got a feeling they'll tell me off for not ringing sooner, cos i'll be 26+2 on Monday lol!
  • Wow ladies,,def been quiet around here,,,,well im still sticking around for a bit longer,,,no signs yet,,,,,
  • I've still got 9 days till my emergency scan that my previous doc put in for because my period was erratic with everything going on in my life so when i didn't have one i just passed it off as stress so I'm clueless as to when i'm due.

Mountainlion was on a few nights ago but don't recal her having plans to be away! hope she is ok.

Beenie i don't think they will bother too much as it's not always possible to get appointments when they should be exactly. If they do say anything just kick the PG hormones into action and flood them with tears hehehe

Night sarah joanne hope your not in the loo all night.

Hi all, had a lovely night at my friends just watching x-factor and chilling with her and 2 week old baby girl, to come home and speak to my sobbing friend only to be told friends of ours baby had passed away through cot death today, I now feel even more towards my baby and just cant imagine what they are going through, really makes you think that you have no control over anything in the end... x

  • Actually, speaking of MW appointments, I think I forgot to update after my last one this week. I asked about having ahomebirth and the MW was really up for it!! :j:T

She was just covering for my usual MW but sure it'll be fine when I see her again. This one said she loved HB's and had been to lots. Written in my notes now that I'mplanning on HB so feels a bit more real!

Glad the mws are being good about the HB!

32be i could feel movements from 11 weeks with dd3!! thought i must be imaging it but had a scan and could see baby moving at the same time i felt the movements!! cant wait to feel this little one and to be that far along!!

I had my booking in appointment (well first one as they now do it in two parts so have a appointment next week again!) - it was a cover midwife that i had last time aswell and she remembered me and was surprised to see me again so soon...:p was nice to be booked in and she has sent of for the scann appointment so should get a date soon....fingers crossed!!! she gave me a EDD of the 8thApril - dd3 will be 1 on the 5th :D (could have them sharing a bday :) but i doubt it as all my girls have been about 2 weeks late.....)

I can never keep up with all your chatter but i will try :) hope your all having a good night - i am feeling ill but it might be to do with the nearly full bag of M&M's :o

Omg nanc that's absolutely terrible :(:(:( How old was the baby? I also can'timagine how they must be feeling, it doesn't bear thinking about.
  • nancmat (((((((hugs))))))) what a terrible tragedy for your friend. Hearing things like that when you are expecting is rather unsettling but makes you more determined to do everything as best you can. hope you are doing well.

Ugh someone on my local freecycle seems to be emigrating and has loads of amazing stuff going, like bunkbeds, cookers, fridge freezers, new carpets... I don't know anyone with a van and it's about 20 miles away!
  • nancmat - so sorry to hear about your friends baby - that must be one of the most horrible things to ever go through... thinking of your friend and you ((()))
