Three - I have a few miniatures that I have purchase, but most were obtained from hotel rooms on our honeymoon ha ha.
very mse.... i approve the minitures really make a hotel stay for me. lol
Just remembered something that wound me up when i was in hosp. I could never get salt and pepper and the food was badly under seasoned. would taking the camping s&p dish be pushing it, or a trip to mc D's for sachets lol:rotfl:

Also write out a list of phone numbers for OH because in the excitement he may forget the numbers even the ones he uses daily.

  • And now I've had a proper catch up - CONGRATULATIONS TO GLAM AND WM!!!

Friday meeting with boss went OK in the end, no P45 and will be working until October 21st still so less money worries now too - I do have a LOT to tidy up before I leave but at least the air has been cleared.

Strange day yesterday but ended up having a lovely evening with DP, stuffing face with curry and copious amounts of rice and naan for the carbs I need according to the diet sheet for the GTT test tomorrow morning. 10 portions of carbs a day is huge amount for me so it's a struggle!

Have definitely decided on buggy (maclaren xlr) as played with one again yesterday in a shop, now just the colour to decide on (black/cream or brown/green???) and also can't decide if we need the travel system car seat with it or not - obviously we are going to need some kind of car seat but toss up between that or one for birth-4 years. That (apart from the new house :)!) is the big money decision done so feel more relaxed now - think DP pleased too as at least I won't keep changing my mind

Ooh, sonimum, will keep eye out for you at aquanatal next week too!

Right, this lazy lump really needs to get showered and dressed now, catch up more later!

Glam - feeding vibes for lil Jack and hope his colour comes back soon.

Xmas - so sorry to hear about your MW friend, I hope she makes a speedy recovery xx

Always - will keep an eye out for you too, will probably be in either a black or brown cosie if they still fit, bump is looking big for 14 weeks! I have also gone for XLR, reserved the Champagne/black one on Baby Plan at Mothercare, altho we have a dog plan on using carriers for walks on more un even ground.

Off to double up tesco vouchers now as offer runs out end of sep, hoping to get a few bits of bedding for bubs :D

  • Hey SJ - I'm here :D

Thanks for thinking of me :)

Time is dragging a bit for me now... everyone seems to be being early that I know but no sign of movement from my little cub. Walking is getting more uncomfortable though so hoping this is a sign of progress!

Am feeling all kinds of mixed emotions too, wanting her to come, being overwhelmed by how big a deal it is when she does come etc etc. Not weepy yet but def all over the place :o Feeling pretty anti-social too :o DH was out talking to neighbour earlier who had her LO in FEb but I didn't want to go out and join in so made myself busy in kitchen... supposed to be seeing good friends later today and I don't want to - how sad is that? Just want to hide away at home with DH. He is more sociable that me anyway but recently I have def got worse  Hmmm what to do to cheer self up?

Awful news re: Nanc's friend, can't even begin to imagine

Here's a question - I was given a lovely moses basket and rocking stand today, only the bedding is really horrid. Is it possible to buy all the bits and pieces like the material that goes around the edge and the hood seperate from the basket? I've tried searching online but not sure what you'd call it so not sure what to search for :o

ebay. search for moses basket covers.

i'm back again ladies the stairs and a bit of rumpy pumpy seems to have got things shifting again. Getting pains every 8 mins now but still only crampy type pains but they are eminating from my foof upwards instead of just being across my bump like the BH are.

Mountain the uncomfortableness and pressure down below was how i have been feeling for the last few days so take it as a very good sign fingers crossed for you :-) xx

For those that are experiencing severe breast pain in one or both like me i have found out how to ease it (could never find anything except ibu gel which i cant use now) - Get a pleat of cotton wool and tear off a strip put it in your bra and cover the whole area including up into armpit inside bra - it looks a bit:o daft but no pain:j
