    Just saw that Aless!

SS- are there any nursing vests you recommend? I have a couple of H & M ones, but was gonna get a couple more from somewhere.

Honestly, the things that have worked best have been Tesco's own non-nursing vests - they fit loosely enough that I can pull them up at feeding time, and the monster's body/head keeps my mum tum/boobs from being on display. I also found it impossible to wear a bra with the Mothercare nursing vests as trying to fasten two of those plastic clasps onehanded while clinging on to a wriggling baby was far too much of a faff, and I don't like being braless while the girls are so enormous.

    Morning ladies!

Well afternoon I know but meant to check in earlier but been quite busy - boss is in today so keeping my head down and a low profile!

Spoke to mortgage blokey about new house and monthly mortgage payments will be £1,325 which is bit under what we'd budgeted - my half share wipes out my SMP each month so mine and little one's spending money (DP will be paying the bills and rest of mortgage and any holidays) for the year of maternity leave will be whatever I can save up before my full pay runs out in December.

34 days and the rest of today to go....

wow, no posts in an hour! It's been pretty quiet today...hope others are okay, as some of the September ladies haven't made an appearance today I don't think.

always - whenever people post countdowns to ML, I feel inspired to go count...except I discover it's 61 working days and get depressed :p

  • Did I mention I have 11 days left.....:p

It has gone really quickly now I think about it though! And I have so much to do in those 11 days.

I really need to sort out my eBay baby clothes habit- it is not good! I picked up some very cute things though.

I think I might brave aquanatal tonight. Boss has already left so I can sneak away early but it depends on how confident I feel when I try on the binkini :o Not used to being so naked but it's probably the only thing that will fit (I only have it because I got it free with a magazine lol)

jenny, you could always wear a t-shirt over the top if you feel exposed?

My god it is quiet on here today! Well, I showered, dressed and did some housework, but didn't actually leave the house. It's miserable weather up here! You girls down south are lucky if you are still getting sunshine. We have blinked and missed summer again up here!

Currently cooking mushroom, potato & aubergine curry for dinner and have made enough to freeze a few portions. Just hope it's nice as it's a first attempt! I think I have about 10 portions of food frozen now, so that's not too bad. Will keep us going for a few days. I never seem to have much room in my fridge or freezer so can't make too much anyway.

Jenny - enjoy your aquanatal class if you go tonight.
