32b have they spoken to the samaritans in situations like that they can normally arrange things alot quicker than any doctor can. My boss told me about them when i was going through my depression i had my councilling sorted in days rather than weeks. Surely if your sis is that bad they should be sectioning her for her own safety until she is more stable sorry i know that isnt the nicest thing to hear but it has to be better than what you are going through now. I hope you manage to get it sorted chick and she improves the poor girl must be in such turmoil at the moment. xx:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Morning all, what a chatty bunch you are. Have tried to catch up but i don't think I actually took any of it in, so cant offer ant advice just luck and vibes to everyone.
My parents have been forced to admit that they cannot cope without my help. They tried to handle my sister on their own and the outcome was not good. Got the call last night and spent the night trying to clean up after she got to a knife. My parents feel completely abandoned they literally just bandaged her at the hospital and put her out, less than 3hrs from it happening to her being sat at the kitchen table. Their advice see your GP.
On a good note the bump was letting me know it was their constantly, i felt kind of bad for being reassured whilst my parents world deteriorated even more. I'm off this morning to hopefully give my mum some needed support as she contacts the GP today.
Sorry i waffled again, dont mean to just can't talk in person to anyone.
Sorry to butt in, and I apologise if I've got the wrong end of the stick!
Does your sister have mental health problems? If so, it can be really hard to get the support needed. Many areas have an advocacy charity that can help people get the support they need - perhaps phone your GP or CMHT and ask them if they know of something? There is a poster for my local one in my CMHT waiting room. If not, PALS can sometimes help you with making a complaint, and asking for more help.

It's so silly but i have worked myself up into a bit of a little state. I can't find the heartbeat at all with my doppler, i felt a tiny bit of movement last night but very little compared to normal. It's all just got on top of me at the moment, Ds had an little accident yesterday and i was so calm at the time while my mum was in a panic, my twins would have been delivered this week and am sat having a little cry for them and Ds is starting school as well so i just feel a bit sad. This is my signature!0

Aww elastigirl :grouphug: Have a dodgy hug.
Can you call your midwife? Maybe you're just not finding the heartbeat because you are strssed. I know sometimes if I'm panicing already I struggle with even the most simple things0 -

Big hugs to you Elasti :grouphug:. Could you pop down to the day ward at your hospital to get checked out if you're feeling reduced movement? Or have you tried a cold glass of coke or something to see if that works. I must admit I get to the brink of phoning to be monitored and then baby goes crazy- hopefully that will happen to you too.
I knid of know how you feel about the twins as if my first pregnancy had been successful I'd be due at the end of this month x x x:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

No, as I still haven't got my work to agree that I continue to accrue them. I also have ahd no response to my query over KIT days which is so annoying!
I think if you know that you definitely accrue them while off then I would include them there. I've put my full twelve months as my return date, and not included any holiday actually, but I just need to give 8 weeks notice of when I actually want to go back.
Forgot to say I got seven gorgeous Winnie the Pooh vests in the post yesterday. I bought them on eBay for 99p for the bundle and they are in pristine condition. I am so chuffed with my first eBay baby clothes purchase. Even OH was impressed and he's not a fan of second hand clothes.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Girls..twilight fans..he's on tv now on Harry Potter if you didn't know
I thought it was HIM! I wasn't wearing my contacts and i couldn't see clearly so i got right up to the tv and said to OH, "Is that robert pattison?"
OH said he thinks so. So i said "Oh good, i want to lick his face" :rotfl:
Then went back to my book
But he is sexier as a vampire, such kissable lips
We have to start packing today, but the lettings agent called OH to ask him to bring his change of name deed down, so i sent him to get bin bags as we only have 1 left and i think OH wants to throw out alot of stuff
Im getting fed up with KFC now, twice i've been there and twice they've forgotten my gravy! First time we we're eating in so all i had to do was walk back up, but yesterday we went through the drive through and parked to check the order, gravy missing. I had to walk in the pouring rain to the resturant from the car park and get it.
Its just not KFC without the gravy:rotfl:
Im thinking my morning sickness has either stopped, or calmed down alot. I've been able to brush my teeth and not be sick in the sink :T0 -
Aless, I think you work for Civil Service like me. I wrote to the centralised HR dept up here and sent them my MATB1 form, and they sent me back a standard form with all the details on it so I could complete my dates etc. It basically just included the 12 months maternity leave.
When I filled it out, I just tagged on to it that I would return on X date, however planned to return after 9 months but would confirm nearer the time. I also stated that as I would accrue annual leave and public holidays, these may be tagged on to the end of my maternity leave. I asked them to e-mail back to confirm that everything was fine, and they did.
Elasti – try to calm yourself down and try drinking a can of full fat coke and eating a chocolate bar. Then lie down on the sofa and just give your bump a wee nudge and wait and see. It might be because you are running about stressed. The midwife recommended that we do this first if we haven’t felt much movement and I have also seen it recommended on here before. You need to be lying down still (and it needs to be full fat coke). If that fails, call the midwife.0
