Thanks lil miss, good idea about tk maxx i hadn't thought of them!

Bear - brill i have a matalan local i'll have to go have a look!

Krystal, i just googled crocs and i don't think they'd look too good with leggings, i had some similar type shoes once and they felt bulky on my feet cos i'm used to ballet type pumps! All i ever wear is leggings nowadays!! I've got some maternity jeans but they are over bump and feel like they're always falling down.
  • Well I am tired so going to go to bed. Car is in the garage too so have to get the bus to work tomorrow and I hate the bus. Really expensive and takes me 3 times as long to get to work including the 20 minute walk from the bus stop :(

    Night all! xx
  • Hi all, back from our cornwall break earlier today so Ive been catching up, now so tired im gonna go to bed in a min, lol!!
Mine hasn't popped out either, I meant to ask the other day if that was abnormal as I thought it would have down, just seems to have grown wider! Very strange.

Bear Family - Thats exactly like my belly button, mine is an inny and it has just stretched bigger and is like a hole now, lol, stays nice and clean now Ive noticed!! :D

We went to visit our 4 day old nephew earlier this evening, he is so sweet, it made it oh so real holding such a small baby and thinking that we are gonna have one of our own in about 10 weeks!! :T

Well Im off to bed now to either read or watch bump moving, lol. Nite nite xx

Can anyone recommend some shoes, preferable wide fitting, that are as comfy as Clarks but without the hefty price tag!?

I'm currently wearing primark £4 flats, and just bought a new pair in my usual size (4). Now i know you're meant to 'break them in' but they're cutting off the circulation and so sore!! So i'm gonna go on the assumption that my feet are swollen! I hope and pray i don't become a size 5 forever, cos 4 is slightly less popular and u can get shoes in the sale Lol!!

I haven't actually tried a 5 on so not sure if they'd still be too big, but i want some cheap shoes!! I know i shouldn't skimp on shoes but i'm skint atm lol.

New Look do a wide fit range, pretty much all the same styles just wider. My DD gets her ballet pumps for school from here. Size 5's are a nightmare to get! Every bu99er is a 5, never get the sale shoes I want :rotfl:

Xmas- Good luck to you and your OH at court today. Really hope it'll just be a fine and maybe a ban.

I am term today- 37weeks!! You can come out now........
  • Hello everyone,

Hubby has just left for work so I'm planning to get up in a minute for breakfast.

Plan of action for the day is go to Aldi and check out their men's shoes, newsletter said they had some smart black ones for £11.99.

Then I'm popping to the town centre to M&S to get measured for nursing bras, look at front opening tops and blouse-type tops in cheap shops for breast feeding and get some bargains in 99p store or poundland.

Need to remember to phone about what time the washing machine is coming tomorrow if they haven't called by 4pm.

I got a large bundle of mother and baby mags from freecycle and have started reading through. Some very interesting articles and it's making me think about things that hadn't even crossed my mind yet, such as weaning, when to do it, what to do etc.

Also, found out my hospital doesn't have any access to ice - you have to bring your own. Apparently it's good if you take the gas and air to stop your mouth going dry. Something else to think about!

Morning all, what a chatty bunch you are. Have tried to catch up but i don't think I actually took any of it in, so cant offer ant advice just luck and vibes to everyone.

My parents have been forced to admit that they cannot cope without my help. They tried to handle my sister on their own and the outcome was not good. Got the call last night and spent the night trying to clean up after she got to a knife. My parents feel completely abandoned they literally just bandaged her at the hospital and put her out, less than 3hrs from it happening to her being sat at the kitchen table. Their advice see your GP.

On a good note the bump was letting me know it was their constantly, i felt kind of bad for being reassured whilst my parents world deteriorated even more. I'm off this morning to hopefully give my mum some needed support as she contacts the GP today.

Sorry i waffled again, dont mean to just can't talk in person to anyone.

Thank You CSH im just waiting for my dad to come pick me up im so nervous i'm thinking the worst which is probably best what ever he gets then can only be better. :-(

Bear i second the ice idea gas and air does make your mouth really dry and feel like its sticking to itself i think a bag is only about 99p from the supermarket just pop it in a little cool bag it will stay frozen for hrs plus you have the added bonus of being able to keep your drinks and sandwiches cool if you take any with you :-) x
