Will do Jillie, was just telling my friends about it on msn and figured I might aswell get it as its free and should help. I think I can fax my docs requesting a prescription rather than make an appt, well hopefully as thats what they asked me to do when I wanted the iron tablets. Will try the milk now and see if it helps (still not got up to get a glass of milk, lol).Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0

Boo we have a kingsize and that feels too small! I had the big body pillow from costco and it ended up on the floor most nights because when I got up for the toilet I was struggling to get out of bed around it. I got this one http://www.bloomingmarvellous.co.uk/product.aspx?CategoryID=w-essentials&ProductID=7683&language=en-GB
for £1 on the carboot at weekend and its great. Id highly recommend it but there out of stock online, I had a piece of red jersey material so stitched that to it like a big cover.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
That's a funky chair! I'd say buy it now as you'll make good use of it as you get bigger. I know I'm grateful for mine.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Im 23+6 jillie :j
I did think that Fitzio, but it has been a constant thing all summer holidays where her kids have been dumped on me and im talking probably 5 days out of 7 in a week n its not just been an hour here or there its been all day long the longest one was when she dropped them off at half 11 in the morning and didnt come and collect them until half 7 the following evening
Whenever i have asked her for a favour even if it was just to pick me up a loaf of bread on her wayover so i had enough to give her kids lunch as well as my own i would get comments like 'i suppose so' or 'if i have to' just feel like i have been used and been taken for a mug for weeks now
i dunno maybe its just hormones but im peed off0 -
Ooh I like that pillow Boogelly, that looks more manageable. I totally know what you mean about trying to get out of bed when you have the big pillow in there too, I get stuck and the covers all get caught up round it, lol. Getting it in the bed in the first place is also a nightmare!! I do love having something though, even if its just a normal pillow some nights.
I love that chair too!!Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
OH thinks the chair might date too quickly because its patterned but it could stay in the little ones room until she's maybe 5 for bedtime stories and I can always recover it. He forgets I can do upholstery
And ive found it for £120 delivered so it seems a bargain to me :j
Princess your friend sounds very selfish, with you being pregnant she should be offering to help you out more not you doing everything for her.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Thats what i was thinking boogellyboo i just dont know how to put a stop to it, i dont want to offend her
Another friend of mine said next time she asks me to look after the kids agree to it and then go out :rotfl: i dont think i could be that mean though:rotfl:

Glam, where are you love? Was your eviction plan more successful than you anticipated? Really hope you are ok and cuddling little man - that would be a perfect excuse for not posting

Bear - I haven't bought any nursing vests yet. I know the Mothercare ones were highly recommended before on here, but then Sugar said earlier today that she didn't like them. My problem with the vests is that they have strappy straps and I need to wear a well supporting bra! Will probably just wait until the baby is here to see how I get on with breastfeeding first I think. If I am only in the house for the first few days I don't suppose it matters what I am wearing as I can just whip it off (unless we have visitors of course!!!).
.
I have a couple of these and OH has just said about wearing a cardy over the top, I don't think the nursing vests I have were Mothercare but Jojo or somewhere like that, got them from my SIL.I just wonder about it being too cold. I've got a nursing chair in the nursery so I'll be feeding up there, if people pop over and I'm feeding they will just have to wait.
