    Oooh, still no Glam?

My heartburn is gradually getting worse but manageable at the moment with gaviscon tabs and milk :)

For those of you worried about movement, I've had plenty of days without much movement then the next day I'll have loads. I read that you should feel 10 movements (not just kicks) in 2 hours otherwise you should go in for a check but I can't remember from what stage that applies.

Boogellyboo - I got the lil humphreys corner feet finders you were talking about, they are just too cute and I love the grey dress too.

Wish we had the room for a nursing chair let alone a nursery :( might move one of the ikea chairs into the bedroom if can fit it near the cot, but I doubt it. Ordered a Body Pillow and some bump bands from ebay yesterday, had a missed delivery this morning, surely couldnt be that fast! Bad day at work, the atmosphere there is so pooh atm and wasd tired and hormonal and spent most of the day fighting tears. Silly I know but just had this feeling of awful loneliness, wish I had relatives and family closer by :(

So anyone any ideas as to Glams where abouts?

I want a glider chair as well but don't have room for it :( My family and my OH's family all live up north - about 6 hours away (apart from OH brother but we aren't close) so you are not the only one without family near by. So glad we get free calls with talktalk as I'm on the phone most nights. Our nursery is non existent as well as we have to have it as the guest room/storage room.

Went to aquanatal :) It was great, I'm so glad I went but I think I was the furthest along there, should have started earlier :o. It cost £5.70 because I wasn't a member but as I'll only be going to no more than 9 classes I don't mind. Always did you go? I don't know what you look like so don't know if you were there :o.

    Hi Everyone,

Not posted anything in ages....finding it really hard to keep up with you all but I do manage to read a bit every day.

Trying to adjust to being on my own all day now that Emma's gone back to school. Hoping that the nesting instinct will kick in soon but for some reason am not walking too well at the moment, have a lot of pain in pelvic area and it seems to be getting worse like I've been doing the sideways splits for a year and then trying to walk if that makes sense.

Cant remember all the details but:

32b - sorry to hear about your sister, I really hope you get the help you need soon.

princess - please don't suffer fools gladly! If your friendship with this lady is as one sided as it appears I really would make sure I wasn't at home next time she wants you to look after her kids/a favour. I know it's easier said than done to stand-up to people who mess you around as it looks like you are being the bad guy but you really deserve better treatment than that - she is taking the p! You don't really have to say anything just withdraw your help.;)

Ooh exciting to think that Glam may have gone with her LO and the eviction assault has worked but who knows she may have already posted while I write.

Harley - I got so fed up with the heartburn/reflux that I went and got some omrepazole too from the dr on tuesday. It really has helped as it was getting to the point where I was getting through a bottle of gaviscon and a large packet of rennies every 2 days! It's like a weight has been lifted really:j

Oh and can't remember who it was saying that they had had their OH's mate going on about soiling yourself during labour. Ooh what is it with these people?! I'm sure everyone can imagine it's not exactly beyond the realms of possiblity but why do people relish in focussing on such stuff! I've had people saying the same stuff to me even though I've already had a child and neither know nor care whether it happened! I went to the pub to meet a group of friends the other week and a guy (friend of a friend) felt it necessary to keep going on loudly about my nipples and the possibility of me spontaneously lactating at the table (even to the point of repeatedly putting his face near them despite being sat next to his GF!) What a d!ck!

Went and spent a silly amount of money at M&P for our pram on sun and they have rang to say it's ready to be collected but the footmuff will be along later so think we'll wait until then to pick it up. Feel a bit guilty we spent so much but almost everything else we have got has been second hand so try to make myself feel better with that! Also after saying we weren't going to have a nursery, we seem well on the way to having a M&P Millie & Boris (albeit second hand) themed one:rolleyes:

Better round off now as this is feeling like one of those long posts that like to go missing when I press submit!

Hope everyone is doing ok and not been as tearful and crap as I have been lately! x

Eek lots to catch up on today:

Glam - hoping that you're either having a lovely day with the OH or you're with your little one x

    What's a foot finder?

Jenny - glad you enjoyed aquanatal :)

SJ - yes the gym opposite Sainsbury's is where I go, had a look online and they do two midweek daytime classes, thinking I might start at about 20 weeks? I don't look remotely pregnant yet so may look a bit mad turning up!

Princess - that top pic is lovely & clear, cute little features.

Lovely bump GISI :) Still can't quite imagine having a bump, will be a shock when it arrives!

I'd love a chair in the nursery but it's not happening if we stick with using the small bedroom :( I've argued with OH til I'm blue in the face about using the larger of the bedrooms but he won't budge!

Oh no fatty, heartburn's the worst :( I get the fruit flavoured Rennies and find them quite good.

Ok, think I've covered everything I wanted to there! Had a frustrating day today, trying to sort out my tax return (eurgh) then got an email from my ex - bloody stalker, wish he'd p*ss off and leave me alone, but afraid to reply saying as much in case he then see's it as a green light to bother me more. Have told OH and he said just ignore he'll go away eventually, here's hoping. Plus the weather was horrible, managed to get caught twice between the car and house/shop and got absolutely wet through...god I sound like a real stroppy mare tonight!!

    Night night ladies, xxx

My hormones have been in overdrive the last week or so too, kept bursting into tears at weekend and needing reassurance off OH that yes, he does love me. No, I dont look like a whale etc etc. Im never normally needy but just lost it at weekend then felt really embarrassed by my outburst and ended up crying even more! Bloody pregnancy hormones have a lot to answer for dont they?

Oh boogellyboo I see you have been teary too! I know just what you mean. I've been like this all week. Just earlier I was reading my little girl a bedtime story about a little girl and her (I think) blue kangaroo and she keeps doing all these nice things for the toy kangaroo, like making christmas decorations and making biscuits for him, then he starts to get upset because she is doing all these things for him and he can't do anything for her in return because he's just a toy. In the end he has a word (magically, you understand;)) with Father Christmas and he arranges a little blue heart for her to find on the tree. Well, it doesn't even sound very sad or anything but I could barely finish reading it I was so choked!! Not easy to break down crying infront of your little one without them noticing she must've been thinking just get on with it will you woman! I managed to hide it I think by fanning myself and saying "mummy's very hot":o

Hi Fidget, if I sit down for too long and then stand up I think it's like when I've been riding a horse and I can't get my legs to go together properly! My pelvis just aches. Hope you start feeling better soon.

I didn't know either and had to google it. It seems to be some kind of socks with a rattle at the end I think.

Lil Miss & Harley - enjoy your last day at work tomorrow! Don't overdo it.

Jenny - glad you enjoyed Aquanatal (and thanks for explaining what a Foot Finder was! I was going to look it up too).

On subject of crying - I start crying in the car if I sing along to a song on the radio - the other day it was The Noisettes. Not exactly sad music!!

Off to bed now. Hugs and best wishes to all. Hope to hear from all of those MIA soon.

    xx
