Harley I thought of you yesterday when I was in mothercare, they had a beautiful grey knitted humphreys corner dress but it was £20! It is lovely but that seemed a bit steep for one dress, I did notice they had a few other humphrey bits reduced though, the little socks with rattles attached and little elephant heads on were £8 now.

  • OH thinks the chair might date too quickly because its patterned but it could stay in the little ones room until she's maybe 5 for bedtime stories and I can always recover it. He forgets I can do upholstery :D And ive found it for £120 delivered so it seems a bargain to me :j
    r.

I have a chair like this in plain beige and it feels very comfy, so I would say get one and if you can recover then all the better, not just for fashion but if the fabric gets worn or needs a good wash!

Hope everyone is OK, sending wriggley baby vibes out to those that need them!

Still feeling miserable as my antibiotics are still causing major problems 'down there'. Got super strength stuff from docs, with another dose for tomorrow when I finish anti-bio's, but have also developed a case of 'h', which is only the second one ever, and is sooooooo painful. Is restricting my movements, but had a salty bath tonight which seems to have helped.

Just hope this is all done before I go on holiday next week, couldn't handle this on a plane or abroad with no idea about what meds I can take. I think I'm just run down, just hope I don't get a cold on top of it!

Otherwise feeling good, lots of movement going on, kind of like being tickled from the inside, which is weird in a good way. Going to start taking pics of my bump for progress everyweek now, can't belive i'm 19 weeks tomorrow!

Boo we have a kingsize and that feels too small! I had the big body pillow from costco and it ended up on the floor most nights because when I got up for the toilet I was struggling to get out of bed around it. I got this one http://www.bloomingmarvellous.co.uk/product.aspx?CategoryID=w-essentials&ProductID=7683&language=en-GB
for £1 on the carboot at weekend and its great. Id highly recommend it but there out of stock online, I had a piece of red jersey material so stitched that to it like a big cover.

We have a KS bed too, and I have the Costco body pillow! OH is now sleeping in the spare room, so I wouldn't rush out and buy a KS bed just for pregnancy reasons. It's still not big enough (although it is nice and roomy normally). I love the Costco pillow as it's sooooo soft and cuddly, but it is a total hassle getting up for the loo, or just turning over. Not quite as bad now I have the bed to myself though. :D

    heya gang :D

Boogellyboo - I got the lil humphreys corner feet finders you were talking about, they are just too cute and I love the grey dress too.

Wish we had the room for a nursing chair let alone a nursery :( might move one of the ikea chairs into the bedroom if can fit it near the cot, but I doubt it. Ordered a Body Pillow and some bump bands from ebay yesterday, had a missed delivery this morning, surely couldnt be that fast! Bad day at work, the atmosphere there is so pooh atm and wasd tired and hormonal and spent most of the day fighting tears. Silly I know but just had this feeling of awful loneliness, wish I had relatives and family closer by :(

So anyone any ideas as to Glams where abouts?

  • Ooh Im not sure what to do about a bed now, if it was just the cost of the bed then I would get a KS as even before I was pg we found our bed a bit of a squish (I like to bend my knees up) but as its only a bit wider im not sure its worth the expense of the new bed, mattress, duvet, covers etc. Hmm...

Somnium - Feet Finders! Its been driving me daft what their called, I knew it wasnt foot rattley things lol. My hormones have been in overdrive the last week or so too, kept bursting into tears at weekend and needing reassurance off OH that yes, he does love me. No, I dont look like a whale etc etc. Im never normally needy but just lost it at weekend then felt really embarrassed by my outburst and ended up crying even more! Bloody pregnancy hormones have a lot to answer for dont they?

It does seem odd with no Glam, maybe her week 37 eviction plan was a little too efficient! Really hope everythings ok and she's either cuddling her little man or just having a nice day with OH before he arrives.

Gemma - sorry your feeling poorly still. I dont think its possible to put tmi on this thread and kill it, from the looks of it its been quiet all day here.

I really need to go and clean the bathroom, the tilers coming tomorrow to replace one tile around where the new shower was fitted and Ive been putting off throwing the flash around for hours now. Please someone give me a virtual kick up the bum!

I do love my KS bed though and hate going back to a double now. But yes, as well as buying new bedding, it's dearer to buy the larger size! I would probably say don't rush out and buy it just because of the pregnancy, but wait until there is a good bargain somewhere and go for it.

Somnium - no idea where Glam is. Sorry you are feeling rubbish. I think we all get days like that, so hopefully you will feel better tomorrow. Have a relaxing evening. x

Gemma - I am jealous that you are going on holiday. Hope you manage to enjoy it!

    Right, off for another Entourage!

    hi harley!!

i've been wondering all day where Glam was as well.

Hey hun :hello: Glad I'm not the only one. Sure she is just chilling with OH (or at the police station having throttled him)

Aww, thanks boo. I love that dress and am desperately hoping someone buys it for her. I have dropped enough MASSIVE hints that I like the huffalumps so short of hitting people around the head with it I'm not sure what else I can do.

Going shopping after my final day at work tomorrow so I'll take my vouchers just in case I find some of those foot finders, they sound so cute.

My feet are absolutely massive today. And itchy but cos they are so swollen they feel anaesthetised so scratching them does no good whatsoever. Keeping them up between checking posts but it's not helping.
