    I didn't get a positive till 12 weeks! Now I don't trust the negatives I keep getting.

    :eek::eek: Does that mean you're testing? :D

Was the same with my other friend, she kept doing tests and kept getting negatives. Until she was 7/8 weeks then a line showed up nice and clear :)
Now she has a little boy :)
OK have to share this and since none of you will know the person i'm talking about she can't go of on one.

My friend called me one night after she realized she was late all excited (they had been trying a while) so the next day she got a test, she called me it was negative:( The following week still nothing so another test....negative end of that week yet another negative.. basically went on for 3 weeks all negatives.

Then i went to her house night for tea and after a couple of drinks nipped to the loo and seen the pregnancy test in the bin :j:j:jit was positive but she was drinking wine with dinner:confused: so i asked her why and she said " i done another test before you came and still nothing it must be the stress of trying that's made me late". I had to snatch the glass from her.

Turned out all the tests had been positive she had not read the instructions on the new tests and thought the positive marks were for negative(honestly:confused:)

The area is lovely, its a quiet area of the city thats out of the way of the main town but close enough for me not to be deserted :)

I've sent an email to the letting agents for more pics and hopefully to arrange a viewing :):)

32b - Im trying to find my clearblue digital one to give to her. I bought a pack of 2 as i didn't think i would be pregnant and i was lol.
I asked OH where it was (as i left it in the kitchen draw) and he said "i dont know" (and looked shifty) which means "I probably moved it and have forgotten where cause i have a weird obbession with cleaning your stuff away and losing it all" :rotfl:

    Afternoon ladies
Just had a nice wlak into town and back to pay my cheque in from work, as my boss allowed me to go after my lunch break popped into sainsburys and got some shopping plus a jam donught for us all, On negative pregnancy results my cousins who's due Jan, had six negative tests before she had a op done on her cervix due a an abnormal smear and even a hosptial test showed negative a day or two after the op when she took another one and a plus sign popped up, as a result she now has a scan every two weeks because the op could haven weakened her cervix !!!! As for me a cheap pregnancy test said yes right away thats was after reading it and hiding it in the loo and going back in five mins later to see if had changed it's mind, in the mean time i was stood outside the door like there was a big spider in there rather than a plastic preg test.
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j

Thankyou for kind words, the worst bit is that he came down this morning like it never happened..not a word about it!! He always does this, every bust up we have, it doesn't resolve anything like it does with most people..doesn't ever clear the air, he just bloody buries it and moves on..carries on as before !!!!!!!! I am at my wits end here. There must be something missing in his brain for him not to have a good hard think about how things are, how awful it is us all living under same roof when we clearly don't get on!! I mean,if he can't handle my son talking, that annoys him...how the hell does he think he's gonna be able to manage a screaming baby!!!?? He is an intelligent man- a retired bank manger !!!!!!, what is wrong with him!!!??? God, even the dog isn't happy in this house anymore.

The talk about him moving on,giving us some space is still on the cards, were getting all the figures sorted first,so we know what were talking about and obviously make doubly sure we can afford the payment increase in the mortgage then we are going to approach him. How he could find it a bad idea for us to buy him out completely I don't know. We have to try or this stress will end up killing someone...
Ive been thinking about what he will say when we suggest he use the money to buy his own place, just a small place,no bigger than a 2 bedroomed house and there are things tht I know he will say as excuses why it isn't a good idea to get own place..also Im thinking over answers in response, if anyone has anything else to add, please help me!
    • why would I need own house in england, Im hardly here.
because we need our own space, especially with the new baby on the way. And yes, youre here alot. Alot more than used to be before Mum died. Before it was vsiting 3 or 4 times a year staying for 2 weeks at a time (every 3 months roughly) and NOW it's every 5-6 weeks, staying 2 weeks at a time!!
    • can't afford to buy own house.
Yes you can, put the 50k were gonna give you to buy you out of this place to the 60k we gave you when we bought the house..thats 110k!! 2 bedroom houses in our local town, all done up really nice, some with conservatories and large back gardens (ive been doing research!) are up for between 85-95k at the mo...so yes, affordable.
    • what about paying out utility bills on an empty house though, when Im not there!?
well, council tax won't be much (single person living there, and over 60..doesn't that make it cheaper?) you get a grant every year for gas and elec so that would cover what you use in the time your in the house surely, doesn't need a phoneline, could make do with his mobile phone, just get a dongle for internet for his laptop..water bill..wouldn't be much atall..he NEVER has a bath and infact I don't think he showers that often either!!!! Tv license- 11 quid a month..no big deal to a man on a £800 a month pension is it!!!?
    • what about furnishing the house once Ive bought it?!
well, some of the houses, infact nearly all the houses on the market that Ive looked at have inbuilt appliances in the kitchen so that wouldn't be a problem..the rest of it can easily be sourced from places like ebay, freecycle, local free ads, familys spares ect..not that he couldn't afford to buy all new anyway!!!!

They are what I can think of at the mo. What do you think? Has he any reason atall to argue with that?!
love my little man he is amazing :j
