I plan on batch cooking nearer the time but probably won't do as many as 4 week's worth. Not sure if I'd even fit that much in the freezer!

My eyes started itching really badly about 30 minutes ago, so with the runny nose and sneezing it's like I'm really allergic to something but I don't know what! I do get hayfever but it's not been too bad the last couple of weeks and it should have stopped ages ago really. Normally only get it from May til June/July.

We have some kind of leak in the roof and there's a mouldy patch on the bedroom ceiling - I really hope it's not some kind of reaction to that

Constipation can be a problem in pregnancy according to a few things I've read although I haven't really suffered myself. Maybe just try and gently increase water and fruit & veg / fibre intake and it might sort itself out?

Not sure if it's normal but i had the exact same thing when i was around 13 weeks! I wasn't uncomfortable or anything though so i didn't do anything, i just kept trying to go cos i thought i should lol. Now i'm quite the opposite, had a bit of gut-rot this week not sure why, think i had too many McD's and now i can't complain that i'm skint lol.

I have been sickness free for 3 days now so fingers crossed EA it will be you soon :)

I have a lovely Slimming World Curry receipe that I make with quorn pieces I can post later if you want?

The only time I get it is when I make that asa big pan and take it to work as lunch or I made Thai Green Curry and I make OH Sweet and Sour instead, soooo annoying cos I have to use 3 pans lol

The joy of batch cooking is you use all your pans cooking it and then minimal washing up when you come to eat it (not that I wash up, that's what the dishwasher is for :p)

I'm probably NOT going to cook it all in one day - will try to spread it out but at this rate, it won't get done like everything else!

ETA - I have huge chest freezer in the garage so most of it will go in there! Plus OH and I need to clear out the smaller freezer in the kitchen of all the meat that's been in there for too long!

I've never had a problem pooing!
OH is always amazed at how quick I am in the bathroom.

HOWEVER, since I went to docs on Friday and said 'I'm suffering a bit from Constipation, could I have some Lactulose to soften it?' It's been awful!

I only said it so I had the Lactulose ready for afterwards! Now it's really hard to go :o

I'm sure I said I wouldn't be on much today!

Listed 16 items today though so not to bad!

Thanks mountainlioness - I think I'll do it, the nearly new sales sounds like a pretty good perk too (can't get everything off freecycle now can I?)

Xmas - good luck with the pool, my luck always goes that way too.

At my scan I forgot to drink and so was trying to get some liquid into me about 5 mins before the scan. I got told your bladder fills naturally and it's full enough if you just don't wee for 45 mins before the scan. So it's not totally about drinking more - just not weeing too much,

We've nearly run out of food (shopping day weds) because we've had a horde of people round to feed for some reason this week. It used to be up to me to make the something out of nothing meals - but I'm struggling to get into the kitchen ATM. So hubby has come up with bulger wheat, stirfried veg and some tofu (10p a pack from HB). I'm impressed - it's flavouerd and edible, nutricious and everything. I think we might just survive this baby yet!

So does it not work if you go to Dr and just ask for lactulose for afterwards then?

And that's totally sod's law not having it before and then having it now

I just read somewhere that you're not meant to wean til 6 months. When did that change?? I've always known it to be 4 months, and i think i got DS on baby rice even earlier than that lol...

I've seen 6 months on something I was reading the other day (might have been Boots' website) then I was reading a book my Grandma bought me yesterday entitled "Don't worry, it's only a baby" which is a couple of years old and she bought it from the library and in there it says about weaning from 4 months.

I'm sure if ti worked for you before from 4 months that would still be ok if that's the way you want to go. A lot of the advice seems to change quite often so in my eyes it's all quite fluid and I'm just going to go with what I think is right at the right time for us.
