God WM! So sorry you are still having a hard time with OH's health. Pleased you got to enjoy the wedding first mind you, that was quite considerate of him! I really feel for you - spending so much time at the hospital whether you are in yourself or just visiting constantly is really draining.
Did you say before that they were going to operate on him for his colitis? My MIL has Ulcerative Colitis, and so does her brother and her cousin. Although last week they said that her brother may have Crohn's Disease instead. OH has problems with his bowels too. It's really difficult to go anywhere with that lot!!! Doctors refuse to believe it's hereditory though and said there is nothing wrong with OH.
Thanks Fitzio. Yes he was hopping for an operation. But they said no to that. Had to try different drugs. They stopped giving him steroids and put him on anti-immune supresants. So that makes him more prone to any kind of infection and they can apparently affect kidney function. They have also said they haven't got a deffinative diagnosis, could be Ulcertative Colitis or even Crohns. But you are right, hospitals are serioulsy draining places, whether you are in their or not. You know you've been in their too much, when the nurses and doctors in A&E recognise you :rolleyes:0 -

Why not make some and portion it into single portions and then when you fancy it you can have it?
If I'm BF I won't be able to eat the spicy stuff anyway - will make the chillis not to spicy (we can always add chilli powder afterwards) and do the curries so they are quite mild.
I eat so much spicy food anyway this baby will probably come out craving curry!
WM - hope OH feels better soon and sending 'No more hospital trip' vibes your wayA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Right, going to Asda to do some food shopping now. I am going to just freeze extra portions of whatever I make for dinner each night I think. Not sure I fancy cooking quite as much as you Glam!
Had a cup of tea, and I am not roasting! Probably also the fact that the laptop is always on my lap and it's soooo hot. Need to get out. Catch you all later. x0 -

Well it worked out better for me anyway cos baby had legs crossed on first scan, ven though she did guess it was a girl - so when i went back she checked again and legs akimbo tis a girlSarah_Joanne wrote: »Beenie glad you got to your appointment. hehe i know, but i seriously would have cried real tears if i had to stay in there for 2 hours  I hate the hospital!! She did tell me 3 times to not eat or chew anything, and only sip water (and not smoke?!) maybe she thought i was a bit of a rogue :rotfl:
I can ring for the results tomorrow at 10am
While i was there i said, err i don't have another mw appt, ever! She said i have to ring my GP and see a community midwife at 26 weeks, it's all different now than with DS, i was given all appointments each time and never had to fend for myself lol0
