Well, back from midwife. Possibly fastest appointment ever - they are usually running about half an hour behind! I mentioned the pain, and there were notes from my visit to hospital, but she seems totally unconcerned. She said "maybe it will be better now you have stopped work". On the occasions I have had the pain, I have been on days off! Maybe I should have kept on working then.

Jillie - thanks for the advice. I have been getting heartburn (or more acid reflux), although it doesn't seem to be as bad as some of the ladies on here. I have been taking Gaviscon tablets, but haven't gone through that many of them. I did try and make myself sick last night as it might have helped last time, but I couldn't control my breathing enough to concentrate on throwing up!! Ha ha, Lovely! I am quite happy that it's not pre-eclampsia as my blood pressure was fine again today, and have never had any protein in my urine. How are you feeling today?

SJ - hope you feel better soon and it's just a wee cold.

EA - I think you have to send it back when you have a MC (I used to work at the place that issues them)

Did you midwife not give you a new form at your booking appointment?

Yeah i kept forgetting to send it off. Im terrible at remembering things :D

And no she didn't she said my doctor has to fill one in for me. He has asked me to make an appointment with him after my scan to discuss how im feeling etc so i'll get him to fill it in then :)

Ooooh i just signed up for online banking with my Mothercare Store Card :D

I hate phoning to pay it, it costs me loads of money on my mobile. But now i can pay online :)

I much prefer paying online, I hate ringing people, like I got a new credit card the other day with 0% for balance transfers, and I had to ring to activate the card, and I hate it cos they always try and sell you something lol

Ok my trial has started now, I have drank a quarter of a pint so far, I am going to see if I can drink a pint or two and a cup of tea from 11.30 - 12.30 and see how dying for the loo I am

I think I think too much into things lol

my bladder was to full at nuchal scan and baby was all squashed so I had to pee! wasn't my fault, scan was an hour late and i thought i was going to wet myself!

I think drinking from 1.30pm to 2 pm will be fine - it's just so your bladder pushes ur womb up so it's clearer!

Don't glug it all down at 1.30pm - I did this and baby had hiccups on scan!

The mothercard is not very MSE if you dont pay it back on time, but very handy if you have no money on you and see the cutest thing ever and must buy it :) :rotfl:

My APR is 24.9% and i got charged a late payment fee cause i forgot to pay :rotfl:

Also you get points for every £1 you spend and they get converted into money off vouchers :D

glad your mw appointment was ok fitzio. i have found before too that if the heartburn/reflux was bad if i was sick (i never made myself sick) it did ease.the only time it didnt was how i ended up in hospital.

said to me to not eat onions as they are very acidy even orange cordial can bring heartburn on. and watch how i sleep.

prob because of my exisitng BP problem they took my pain as a potential sign of pre-eclampsia.
i was tested every day for it the first few days. this meant urine sample, bloods taken, check for swelling and blood pressure around 8am and then every 4 hours checking my BP

I don't have any credit cards or store cards and never have - can't risk it!!!!

I've just got my good old debit card and that sees me thru!

Made a list of meals to make for freezer - am up to 56 portions of various stuff. OH and I have decided to do one big shop a month and get everything we need and then top up with milk, bread and fruit weekly.
