  • Hi xmas - I'd have a go at repairing it and see if you get any leakage over the next few days. if you only get a slow leakage, you could probably manage with topping it up during use?

    Morning,

Sorry Xmas, got no idea what you should do. I would probably try and repair it, but then since you thought you might be nearing birth yesterday, do you have time to repair and still get another one if it doesn't work? Not sure what you are best doing.

Got midwife appointment at 11.15 so off to get showered just now. 2 weeks ago, I ended up with major pain in my ribs and had to go to hospital but they couldn't find anything wrong. It happened again last night, but only lasted about 10 minutes before it eased off. It feels like so much longer though! Will mention it to midwife but doubt she can help. It's terrible though as I am having to concentrate on breathing as if I am in labour. Very strange.

Fitzio if i order before 1pm today they will deliver it tomorrow so as long as i dont go in labor tonight i will be ok.

How far gone are you fitzio with my other two they had a lovely knack of hooking their feet under my rib cage causing me major pain to the point where it doubled me over. Your little angel could be doing this ive been luckythis time this one seems to prefer attacking my foof and has left my ribs unscathed so far :-) x

    I was 36 weeks yesterday.

It's pain at both sides of my ribs - right across my bump. Higher up than I would imagine my abdomen. Not necessarily my ribs that are sore, but just the area at the top of my ribs (not sure I am describing it well!). It's continual agony though, not just a stabbing pain or anything like that. The pain makes it really difficult to breathe and I am doubled over trying to see if I can relieve it in different positions. I must look like a right numpty! I have no real concerns that anything is wrong with the baby though. It's just poor old me lol!

Someone actually suggested gallstones, but I don't have a clue!

    Morning ladies
Hope everyone is ok, just trying to catch up as getting on the internet at home is murder what with oh moaning, and internet connection keep going gave up this weekend. So have just been trying to catch up but have i missed any births etc ??? There are so many pages to read back on. Had a lovely weekend, a freind of mine painted the room which will be our nursery but not doing anymore to the room just yet, Went out for a nice sunday roast yesterday as me and oh have been together 3 years, I am sure we are the only nation that has a sunday roast when it's so hot outside the resturant was pack, there was also a pregnant women carving the meat, poor cow i felt so sorry for her she must have been at least 7-8 months all in chefs whites and carving behind all the lights and hot plates. I was baking in a t-shirt and jeans so god knows how she must have felt. Then home to lay on the bed watching life on mars on dvd with a fan on me, not sure why i am sure it must be my pregnancy hormones but as well as thinking sam was quite cute also found myself thinking that Gene hunt was also quite cute !!!!
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j

I wouldnt know about gallstones never had them but i would have thought the pain would have been more regular if you had those. Definately ask your midwife what she thinks it could be. i used to find that tipping myself to the side would relieve the pain it could help. Hope you find out what it is :-) x

LOL at gene hunt. I suppose he has that no nonsense manimal thing going on :-) x

Morning all. Well I booked today off work but am not enjoying it so far as I've woken up really sniffly. Feeling a bit sorry for myself and can't stop sneezing.

Off to catch up and will be back shortly x

    I'm soooooooooooo hungry :(:(

Well, the car didn't start so i stuck my head in the garage and i couldn't see the miserable old boss guy anywhere so i asked the younger lads if they could give me a jump start, and they did - well they pushed it and it started, still don't know how that works lol.

So i took it down the A1 for a good run and made it to hospital :D Had to drink far too much Lucozade but am glad it was the proper stuff not cheap gloopy stuff.

Gotta go back in 2 hours, well, 11:45am for more bloods, can't wait to have some food i'm feeling v.faint.
