:eek:Just spent ages catching up and can't remembert a thing. Pregnancey brain is not working very well.
Went to a wedding doo on Sat Night. Took ages to get ready, hair washed, straightened, fake tan, shaving legs, make-up. Wiped out before i went. OH actually said i looked gorgeous!!!! Shocking for him, just usually get sarcky comments about me making an effort when i go out with my mates, but not for him. Not gonna get all dolled up to sit in the house, now am i?. Was good night, considering no alcohol was consumed, got home at 12.30am, way past my bedtime.
Then ended up back in hospital with OH yesterday. Had to call an ambulance he was in that much pain. Wasn't his colitis though, turns out it was a water infection - which could have been brought on by some of the medication he takes, which might affect his kidneys. Brilliant. Paramedics gave him morphine in the ambulance and it didn't do a thing for him. Pain finally subsided after more drugs in A&E. They wanted to keep him in, but he refused, spent too much time in there recently! Sent him home with anitbiotics, when he had finally wee'd for the first time in 30 hours .
I am seriously sick of the site of that hospital, and i'm booked into the same one for my C-section. Do not want to see it again until the 14th Sept. And then i hope i'm in and out within 3 days max.
Labour vibes, good luck vibes to those who need them (Xmas- I think).0 -

hehe, same with me. I have a store card a credit card and an overdraft, but my overdraft is clear at the moment, its only there for emergancys
Oh and a handful of catalouge accounts, but they are all clear
Meh, im gutted i have another week off work. I sent my self certification form in for last week and my sick note for this week with a letter saying "I understand im entitle to SSP so can you sort it out for me please"
Seriously my work try to get out of giving people sick pay. When i was off after i had the mc and the operation i had to hassle them for a week to get my sick pay, which i then got 2 weeks after i should of got it
I dont think my work like me cause i always read up on my rights etc and list them all when they are doing something i dont like, like not giving sick pay :rotfl:
On another note, im finding recently that im not pooing alot. I feel like i need to go then i go to the toilet and i just need to pee
Is that normal? Im going like once every 3/4 days.
Thanks0 -
God WM! So sorry you are still having a hard time with OH's health. Pleased you got to enjoy the wedding first mind you, that was quite considerate of him! I really feel for you - spending so much time at the hospital whether you are in yourself or just visiting constantly is really draining.
Did you say before that they were going to operate on him for his colitis? My MIL has Ulcerative Colitis, and so does her brother and her cousin. Although last week they said that her brother may have Crohn's Disease instead. OH has problems with his bowels too. It's really difficult to go anywhere with that lot!!! Doctors refuse to believe it's hereditory though and said there is nothing wrong with OH.0 -

THEY?!!!!!
Having twins are we dear?!!
Not actually made my meals yet! Just planning the shopping list
This is the plan
4 x 500g minced beef
6 x 3 chicken breast packs from ASDA
A big beef joint
I have figured should make the following (1 portion is a meal for 1 person)
12 portions of chilli
8 portions of bolognase
4 portions of Lasagne base
4 portions of chicken tikka masala
4 portions of mexican chicken
4 portions of cajun chicken
6 portions of plain chicken breasts to be frozen for fajitas/enchiladas etc
6 portions of beef madras
8 portions of casserole
So 56 portions which makes tea for 28 days. I tend to buy the frozen Birds Eye Chicken Breasts as well when they are on offer at a £1 so will fill freezer with these as well!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
right off to get ready for ante-natal appointment at hospital.
chat later'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
hello all just been catching up glad to hear everyone is well and getting better.
Just back from seeing the nurse. What a laugh, they neglected to put on the notes that i was PG(their was a scribble but we could not read it) and it was a different nurse from last week. It was funny as her face changed she must have thought she'd have to break the news:rotfl:After that it was a good appointment my BP was good, bit higher than i am normally but not a concern(usually have low BP).
She wouldn't comment on how far she thought i was but did say i was definitely PG and not just last week (doh i know that). The pain i was experiancing she said could be my bowels as i may have ibs, their was no sign of an infection but if i still have it at the end of the week i have to call the doctor. I have also put on weight just a few pounds but.(I don't own scales lol)
It was so very different to my other docs reception smiling help full staff passing patients and offering to chase prescriptions, moving chairs so a wheel chair user was not sitting out in the room. Very pleasant Helped me relax.
So i am back waiting on the postman for my hospital appointment.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j
