OOH i forgot about inserting just been taking them oraly thats another job for OH to do he feels like a gynocologist at the moment poor bloke. Do you snip them or !!!!! them before insertion or just put it up there ??

P R I C K them (seems to be barred that word) - need to get it as far up there as possible. Think Tia and Sugar said to wear a panty liner as it can get messy! Supposed to dissolve before morning but with our night time toilet breaks we get up before they have fully dissolved.

where has today gone? 6.15pm

Have worked my way through the rest of the big bag of doritos and a load of choccie biccies! Really got the munchies today!

Good job I've got healthy tea of casserole leftovers for later!

drink it thru labour and afterwards - will help uterus contract back.
You can drink one cup a day anyway as it's really for period pain!

MBM - don't say that! I'm being induced by gel and I can't leave the hospital as I have to be monitored throughout!

Am hoping to either get things going myself or make sure that cervix is thin enough so that they just have to break my waters.

Yes, you need a liner with EPO because otherwise there is an oil slick in your gusset. You should also expect one to be floating in the toilet bowl after the middle of the night visit...

    Nice :rotfl:

You can also drink RLT after the birth, it's supposed to help the uterus shrink back quickly, and fennel tea is reputedly good for milk supply.

my casserole was fantastic - with lots of fresh bread and butter to mop the gravy up with

Oh and I'm swapping numbers with Sami so that she can let you all know when bubs arrives cos I'm def going to be in for minimum 24 hours afterwards and god knows when I'll get on net and don't trust OH to come on and update you all!!!

See, I am sort of organised :rotfl:

I am dead fussy and always turn my nose up at casserole and stew - my stepdad came up and made a beef madras. Now I don't normally like beef unless it's Roast Beef or a medium rare steak but thought I won't complain. Well, because he used really good meat it was delish!
(I'm the type of person who gags and can't eat anymore if I get a bit of gristle, fat or bone when I'm eating) :o

I then used some of the leftover meat and cos I made it myself I knew exactly what went in it - the beef had been marinaded in beer for 2 days and then I just fried it and put it in a dish with stock, potatoes and carrots and popped it in the oven for 2 hours.
Served it with more veg for OH and peas for me.
