  • Last time I was pregnant, I used to suffer from real 'baby brain' moments. Seems like nothing's changed this time - just discovered that when I sent off my last lot of stuff I sold on Ebay I managed to get a couple of items sent to the wrong buyers - doh. As it was I had made a loss on the postage, now I'm really going to be down on the sale when I've refunded them their postage costs...
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Aww red that's rubbish. I've been miscounting things which is a bit embarassing but at least it never cost me any money! Hope you make loads on your next sale to make up for it!

On the muslin debate- I've got two packs from when they were BOGOF in Tesco, one Mothercare pack that I bought when I was doing a big 25% off order and a pack of the Ikea wash cloths that were dead cheap. Should do me I think. I also probably have enough wipes to last until bubs is toilet trained as I keep getting vouchers / offers for them and can't resist!
Tesco muslins are crap :o mine have been relegated to the back of the drawer in case of emergencies
Can never have enough muslins. I've got 30+ and still run out!
Do you never wash them? :P

I've got about 20 that I actually use, they generally only get wash once a week and I don't run out but Ed isn't a sicky baby :D He's almost perfect:A unlike his big bro at his age

EA Lillypadz are breast pad things that stick to ur boobs, MFD has them and has given good reviews :)

On the adhesive bra front i found if yuou have anything more than a hand full up front they dont tend to work very well and just drag your bust down. Thats just personal opinion though you can pick them up fairly cheap now so probably bestto try one out :-) x

  • Happy EDD Nesquic! Fingers crossed it happens today.

I'm thinking of getting some Lilypadz, although I do have a fair stash of breast pads so no rush!

Off for my day out in a bit and the weather here looks gorgeous!

Mine too but I started two days before grr! Apparently there's only a 2 percent chance that a baby will arrive on their due date - well that's what MW said don't know if it's true. Hope yours is one of them ness!

Sleeping has got a lot harder this past week every time I wake up it takes about an hour to get back to sleep.

Got woken up at 2.30 am last night to drunken screaming and shouting. Looked out the window and a girl was swearing loudly at a car, she then tried to get in but it went to drive away and knocked her down!! She was lying in the road with another girl cradling her head screaming. A neighbour was already heading to the scene and I was just about to call ES but the girl amazingly got up still staggering around and continued the argument!! The two girls then headed off and two guys got back in the car and drove away. Was really scary as I could have been witnessing something much much worse than it thankfully turned out to be. Was going to report it but we couldn't make out the number plate as the car was on an angle. I'm sure she's going to wake up with more than a hangover though as the car hitting her was very loud - shocking!

Hehe, yes I do wash them! I agree with Tesco ones being rubbish. In my experience, Zorbit are the best, the John Lewis, then Mothercare, then Asda.

I get through quite a lot, I leak loads while feeding so use one per feed for that, and one per feed for Toby - he has a bad latch and dribbles something rotten! At least 10 feeds a day, thats 20+ muslins!

You'd be amazed at what they can walk away from when drunk. I used to chat to a cop that covered for the lolly pop man and he told me a few crackers. Guys with knifes stuck in their backs or waking up the next morning with a nail through their foot:eek:not to mention the ones that would report attacks the morning after they happened with no memory of who or when not even where it happened:confused:

On a funny note when my OH drinks he sleep walks he has on occasion woke up covered in blood after hurting himself on furniture, once he moved the furniture in his sleep because "someone moved the bathroom door":rotfl:
