Well I am back, oh my god my back and feet are killing me, we got to mam's at 9.30am and finished up at 6pm
It was hard though cos my aunties and cousin don't know I am pregnant, so I was doing lots of pathetic none streneous jobs and I am sure they were cursing me under their breathe lol
But I am pleased there was 8 of us doing them all otherwise it would have took forever
I got to paint the garage door a lovely royal blue colour, it looked very nice if I dont say so myself
OH painted the front of the house and the back (there are tiles from halfway up to the top, kinda hard to explain) so he is totally wrecked and his hip is killing
Sorry for epic post lol
Fitzio ThanksI am watching XFactor now, I love it lol
Nikkit Sorry I dont have any answers for you, but I hope it all gets sorted for you xxx
Glam what if you dont often orgasm?thats not to say I dont enjoy sex lol cos I do, but I rarely seem to orgasm, it seems as though whenever I get close to it I freak out internally and concentrate too much on the orgasm that it never happens, did that ever happen to anyone? if so how did you get round it?
:o:o
Beenie awww god no lol

Thanks Fitzio for the tips. I have been doing the hand shaking thing today and I think its helping a bit. Will try the other tips too. Good excuse to get OH to massage my tootsies anyway!kindofagilr wrote: »OH feels this way as well, he is a bit extreme I think though, like he doesnt want people calling a train a choo choo, but I think thats just normal for babies?
On the baby talk question (know it was asked ages ago but only just got a chance to catch up!), I didn't do this with my two and spoke to them in normal english all the time BUT they were both really slow to talk and needed speech therapy! DD has an excuse as she is autistic and can still barely talk now aged 8 and a half, but DS who now talks nineteen to the dozen only had about a dozen words when he was 2. Over the years I've done lots of speech therapy especially with DD and a lot of research into the psychology of how babies learn to speak, and the research is overwhelming that babies whose parents use babyease (eg choo choo, moo cow, etc) when they are little learn to speak far earlier than those whose parents always use proper english. So this time round, I'm going to be the mum in Tescos using the silly words for things I'm afraid! Once kids start to talk fluently obviously its a different matter and you can start to teach them more sophisticated language, but it turns out there is a good evolutionary reason why lots of people babble to their babies rather than talk properly.

Dam that ebay, i just couldn't resist it. Managed to keep away from baby stuff but lost it with lippy for DD. five for £1.75 incl postage. so proud of my self for a bargain lol it will be a nice surprise for her.
Kindofagilr - that happens to me with nookie only advice i have is relax but it won't always work. we are doomed come due dates :rotfl:
Just been messing about on ebay and found self adhesive bras, forgot who it is but someone that is getting married was wondering how to hold breast pads in place with a lace up back on her dress. If someone would be so kind and let me know who so i can pass on the message TA[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Evening all,
I`m having a very tired and moody day lol. I think that will teach me for staying up half the night though lol.
My main fustration is the moses basket. I was given all the covers and some blankets etc for it and I haven't a clue how to set it up!!! Its making me really doubt my mothering abilitys if you follow me. I found some pictures on google which have helped me put the main cover on, I originally thought it went on the outside.
But the rest of it is eluding me. So I've dumped it in the bed room and am ignoring it for the mo. Does anyone have any links to pages showing you how to make them up step by step? I have some thinish covers for it and some thicker blankets and i`m sooo clueless.
Hope you are all feeling better than me.

fishcake dont be so harsh on yourself i have 2 kids and i still don't have the hang of moses baskets. I have always just folded them evenly to make them look ok from above, i prefer to wrap the babies in the blanket then a fleece blanket over them tucked in the sides. rather than bringing the blankets over them IYSWIM, it stops them throwing the blankets off and wriggling everywhere. Fitzio, thanks for the advice re Ikea bed sizes. Thinking about it, I think a friend had an ikea bed and found it annoying that sheets etc were always the wrong size, actually it might have been a duvet but I guess it’s the same sizes!
Harley glad your head is ok today!
Ohh xmas that’s exciting if you’ve had your show!
Kindof hope your jobs weren’t too bad and you took it easy today
Nessquic – I bought some nessquic for the first time in YEARS when I was at Lidl getting my body pillow yesterday and I'm loving it! I don’t like milk so take calcium tablets but might not need so many if I keep drinking nessquic!!
Fishcake that’s really sweet feeling close to us all! I feel a bit like that, I don’t know any other pg people and I'm the first of my friends and this generation of my family to have a baby so if it wasn’t for this forum I'd feel like I was doing it all on my own. (OH is great but it’s not the same talking to him about some of the things we do on here, and he has no advice for me when I don’t know what’s happening or what I need to buy etc!!)
Nikkit that must have been such a scare! Really glad your holiday was nice and relaxing though. Fingers crossed that everything will be fine for you. I have no experience to share I'm afraid but send you my good wishes instead x And I can only get into size 8 jeans cos they go right under my bump, anything I have that sits on my waist no longer fits me!
Three – it was EA asking about breast pads in a wedding dress!
I've had a nice day anyway, went to Trafford Centre with OH and bought some over bump cargo type trousers and a nice maternity top from H&M. Also got some BOGOF sun cream for my honeymoon!! 3 weeks today and I'll be married! With that and thinking about this pregnancy it's a wonder I can remember to eat and breathe!!0 -
