Really when i had DS i never got anything and had to make do with the little i had took in with me(OH panicked and picked up the wrong bag). whats in the bags do you know, rather curious i remember when i got a bag with DD their was nothing but leaflets and 1 small sample of baby lotion. Laddie said they were low on stock was so annoyed as others got loads of samples.

Will need to remember to chase them if i don't get anything now lol

  • Ah, sorry, Boo. Misunderstood. I just got the coupon to get one from Asda. It had mini samples of Sudacream and palmers body butter, couple of sample nappies and nipple pads and a few coupons.

Here's the link to Bounty, that shows you all the ones you should get, as well as their names.

grr - I'm trying to pack my bag and can't fit all my stuff in! I have a holdall and what with 2 towels I just can't get it all in there!
Have put all baby's stuff into the changing bag I have and will take that in but am struggling with my own gear.

I might just put some stuff in a bag in the boot of the car and OH can bring stuff in as I need it i.e. my going home outfit and spare clothes, bigger baby vests, spare pads (maternity and breast) etc. Will be stuffed if he's not there for any reason though!

Grr and my new joggers that I've just washed and dried now need ironing - I never iron anything!

My only worry about going back in is that if I've forgotten to do something before I left they will collar me! :o

I will go in - the money will just be going into the maternity leave fund along with the otehr 20 hours overtime I did this month

I have been out tidying the garden, looks better :) Oughta try and find some bits to list on ebay now its free!!

I've just started getting my bag together and there's so much stuff I'm thinking of leaving stuff in the car and just sending OH to get it when I'm settled. MW even told us to bring extra pillows, as the hospital never have enough. Just cheap ones that can be thrown away after use - bought a couple of Ikea ones for £1.29 each.

BTW Poundland had a set of three hand sanitiser sprays for £1 that I thought would be good to take.
