I had said I was leaving at 4pm but in the end it was much later as I wanted to make sure everything was done before I went!:o

You got some great gifts - nice to feel apprecitaed isn't it?

That reminds me I need to return the towels so I can use the Mothercare voucher to get a new bra or two.

I too never get flowers but got some from work and mum bought me a lovely bunch as well so my 2 vases are in use for the 1st time in months!

Do you find your hands are quite red but the knuckles and finger joints are all white?!

Just managed to devour half a big bag of Doritos - yum!!!

Yay - Bea is being grilled on BB - biatch :T

It is nice to be appreciated. It's weird that I am kind of leaving, but will still be going back. I had to clear out my drawers so that the guy standing in has some space, but I have nowhere to put my stuff and can't just bin it all so strange clearing stuff out temporarily!

OH bought me a vase as well as the flowers, but 1 of the few I had seems to have disappeared. OH keeps saying "I can't find it, it must have been broken", which I am now taking as "Whoops, I remember breaking that, but don't want to admit it"!

Hands aren't really red, although since it happens mostly during the night and wakes me up, it is dark so I suppose they could be. I just wake up with the stiffening and pain, need the toilet, get up, pee, wash hands in warm water until they ease off then back to bed and take ages to get comfy. Then I repeat this about another 3 times!!

I am on Pringles tonight. Must have eaten about 15 tubes during pregnancy!!

Hi all, finally caught up again, lol. Re under bump jeans, I am not loving mine either. They are next ones and lovely and v comfy for the beginning but now I kinda try and hitch them over my bump a bit as it feels too low under and they just feel wrong, restricting too. Deffo prefer the big panel ones. My next black work trousers are my best buy but I got some next jeans off ebay which I also love and look great, except they constantly feel like they are falling down, lol!!

I am well impressed with ur babygro kindof, well done :T

Ive got my anti d injection in the morning, wish me luck, ill let you know how it went later on.

Can I ask a bit of a TMI question please. Still having a small bit of leaking from my bbs (only really if I have a poke around first) but today and the other night a teeny tiny bit of what looked like blood also came out of one. Has this happened to anyone? Spose I could mention it at the hospital tomorrow??

    xx

    Hi Boo,

I have 2 pairs of Next jeans and a pair of black Next work trousers and I hate hate hate them!! They all have kind of side panels, so I think they are on the bump rather than under or over. They constantly fall down and I spend all day hitching them up. I kept thinking I would grow into them, but it didn't work like that. My work trousers started to roll down under my bump, flashing my tummy! I am so glad I don't have to wear them again. I am considering buying some braces to hold my jeans up. I would definitely buy over bump trousers next time round - I thought I would be too hot with them!

Good luck with your injection tomorrow. I would definitely mention your bleeding nipple to your doctor/midwife tomorrow. It definitely doesn't sound normal, but hopefully it's just because you have squeezed too hard or something. Let us know how you get on.
  • Morning!

Congrats Fitzio on your last day at work, now you can spend the next few weeks winding down!

Slept with my body pillow last night and it was lovely! OH and I kind of shared it in the middle of the bed and it is so supportive. £9.99 well spent.

Off to work, again. Hip still really sore so will def try and get to the doctors on Monday. Booboo- hope anti-D goes okay today. Let us know as I have mine on Tuesday!

    Have a great Saturday everyone.

    Hey everyone.

Had a lovely lunch out and got lovely pressies - got Fisher Price Rainforest activity gym, £100 Mothercare gift card (don't tell Harley!) and bouquet of flowers. Yesterday one of the girls gave me some bath/body stuff and £15 Next gift card, so I have done pretty well! And my boss gave me flowers and chocolates on Tue as she was off the rest of the week.

Wow, how lucky are you??? well done. If you find anything good to spend the mothercare vouchers on let me know. Btw, you can spend it in the early learning centre too. For my birthday a friend of mine gave me a £20 mothercare voucher too. Really kind of her but she knows the problems I've had with them so it seemed a bit of a strange choice. Plus, it's my birthday - I want something for me!!! (stamps feet and throws wobbly worthy of a two year old).:o

Re: under/over bump jeans, I have both. The under bump jeans are M&P and are fairly comfy though I do have to keep pulling them up and they are very low so I wonder if I have grown out of them (they are still a size 8 so quite possible). The over bump jeans ride down with every step, the panel doesn't come over the bump completely so end up cutting across bump and leaving a mark. The jersey panel also freyed within 5ish wears and the cotton snapped the very first time I pulled them on. They are Peacocks though so I guess the quality was never going to be great. I've also got an overbump pair from South but my legs outgrew them at about 5 months and now I can't even get them past my calves!!!

I would go for under bump every time.

    Morning Kindof,

Thanks, I like him too. I would have added my bubs in 4D but she turned shy and wouldn't show her face so Puss in Boots it is.

My day is going to be fairly quiet. I have to go into town for some last minute baby shopping so I can finish packing my hospital bag. Then I need to get a load more washing in as another friend brought me 4 bags of baby clothes on Thursday. Then I need to tidy the house (currently not too untidy) as I have a health visitor coming to see me on Monday. The rest of the day I will have my feet up to try and relieve the swelling and will be watching all the things I have recorded this week whilst I have been sleeping my evenings away.

The clothes my friend bought are gorgeous by the way. Most are special occasion type frilly dresses and have only been worn once. Look like the type of thing that comes from a posh boutique. One even looks like a miniature wedding dress with matching hat and frilly knickers. I love them, and they go up to 12 months. Honestly, this little girl could be changed 4 times a day for the next 6 months and still not wear everything she has been given.

No more head wound today, woke up and first thing I did was check my hands for blood but seems to be ok this morning so will give hair a wash in a bit and hopefully not open it up again.

    Have a lovely day all

Morning ladies hope you all slept well

Loads of grow strong and big vibes to baby tigs ;-) xx

Bit of a gucky question for this time in the morning but can any of the second timers remember what their show looked like??

I believe with the last two it looked a little like Dried up gloy gum with some bloody streaks in but i have woken up this morning (sorry if your having breakfast) with a very thick white mucus in my knickers when i say thick i mean like the kind of stuff they use to attach free gifts to magazine you can pull it and its sticky but not icky sticky its kinda dry to the touch no blood streaks. I was meant to go to rugby on the train today but if thats my show and i follow suit with the other two preganancy i went into labor 24hrs after having it so im obviously a little dubious about going ??
