Hi spikey and billy!
Ahhh I just had those japanese noodles for tea again! Got OH to go pick them up, and had dumplings too. MMMmmmm! This noodle place is so good, if you are ever in Leeds you should check it out - called Fuji Hiro and it's my favourite! So much better than Wagamama0 -
spikeysoul wrote: »Hi,
I'm 16 weeks and some days right now, I've been lurking for a little while - but I wanted to introduce myself. I'm 26 and have hypermobility syndrome (HMS) - that gave me wonky hips before the pregnancy. So I'm having a fun time working out which bits of me are turning to jelly recently. I've got a lot of fun things like SS assesments to look forward to on top of all the medical stuff - and everyone thinks I'm crazy because I want a homebirth if I possibly can. I've got a stack of real nappies from freecycle ('you're going to regret that!) and I shockingly want to try to breast feed ('nobody does it'). I daren't mention I want to co-sleep, they'd go crazy - and I've accepted a cot from someone already. That just gives me extra choice though. However for a mum-to-be who might not be able to pick the baby up out of a cot and put them back it might just be more sensible - with all the proper precautions anyway, no duvet ect.
I've got asthma (can't remember who asked) and I've found it's got worse recently. I used to be able to forget my preventor without too much of a problem - but if I do now then I get wheezy and cough a lot, could it be an inflamation thing? I've noticed I have a permanently stuffy nose too.
Helen81 - are you going to complain that's really bad practice!
When I saw a GP (I was unplanned and on meds for the HMS so wanted advice NOW!!! I didn't care who) he kept asking me if I wanted an abortion  wouldn't shut up about certain medical stuff I have going on and refused to refer me to phisio or my rhumy about the pregnancy. So I rang the hospital myself (they arn't supposed to be self-refferals, but they know my condition) and was seen really quickly - but some GP's are beyond naff.
Stuff what other people say, they just love sticking their noses in when someone is preg0 -

Kindof - That babygrow is amazing!! The most i could amount to is stiching a patch on a babygrow :rotfl:
Well i thought i fixed my dishwasher, until it flooded the kitchen floor lol.
Haha, cause i switched my laptop off before any replys came me and OH made some piping bags out of some nice printer paper. It has a glossy side so i used that for the insideBut next time i'll use the sandwhich bags i have but never use
It worked ok (my first attempt at cake making from scratch)
Also, my arms are stupidly Veiny!!
Also, all the flys are deadOH drowned them in bleach and then threw them all away.
