  • Ohhhh, I'm just sat curled up on the sofa and I just felt a really weird sensation in my tummy. Kinda like tiny bubbles popping inside me, or when you have a bubble bath and you can feel the bubbles popping against your skin, slighty to the left under my belly button, lasted maybe half a second and then about a minute later its done it again. Could this be my first movement??? I am all scrunched up so maybe thats made it obvious???
    Any ideas?

helen - I would write the letter like I said and list and expand on everything you out in your post including names, dates and times etc. This is def a significant event and the GP needs to be aware that he has cocked up - you'd be surprised how many managers just write a response without even informing the GP!!

Fidget - I got it originally 9 years ago and then had a flare up about 4 years after that. At 10 weeks pg, I had a tiny sore bit down there so out of hours GP did a swab but I never got the results and they didn't treat it.
I just need to make sure there are no active lesions in the week before delivery - OH and I have our own toilet rolls, hand towels etc to try and avoid any contamination. Bang goes him helping with perineum massage - can't afford to risk it.

    spiky - welcome!

Nicki - sorry DD situation is ongoing.
I get really swollen fingers - when I wake up for a toilet break at around 3-6am, I can't make a fist at all. I can maybe move my fingers a tiny bit but not a lot. It tends to ease off by about 10am though on it's own.

Just had my casserole with gorgeous bread and butter - still hungry though!!!

    [QUOTE=three2be;24423061.

I have another debate to start that i heard at Tesco's tonight that really irritates me.
Baby talk i don't mean the stupid cooing etc that we all end up doing i mean the people that use bobo for bottle or the one i heard today do you want to go to mc Donalds for bit bit.:confused:drives me nuts teach them how to talk before the English language is forgotten.[/QUOTE]

OH feels this way as well, he is a bit extreme I think though, like he doesnt want people calling a train a choo choo, but I think thats just normal for babies?

God Harley that sounds really scary

Good luck on the cake making EA I just made a chocolate cake, I am waiting for it to cool down then I need to ice it

    Welcome Spikeysoul

    Thanks three2be, redstararnie

it was done with soluable canvas, you pin it on the clothes and stich the pattern with normal threads then you soak the clothes in hot water and the canvas disolves :)

I havent been over there for a while, I did post a Cross Stitch I did a while back

    Glamazon thanks

Hi all thanks for the warm welcome :hello:

Kindof - that baby grow is fab I've tried to do cross stitch in the past but that's amazing what you've got there and so cute.

Fishcake do you have a sure start or a homestart near you? Homestart can send round a volunteer just to help out - i think they can help with support to take you and the baby out to playgroups and things like that.

Local childrens centers sometimes have support services and do stuff like babbling babies ect.

There may also be some women's centers near you - maybe the local council might know where they are, or do a search on the net.

Is it possible she might have PND - it's much better to get treatment than to leave it if that's the case. I'd still reccormend the above organisations - but with a trip to the GP too (if she is feeling fragile maybe you could go with her?)

I'm sure visit's from a friendly face will help a lot too - sometimes it's the low tech stuff that helps the most, like real friends. Maybe if you help get her out of her four walls that might help - easy as taking a short walk or going to a local cafe.

  • Hi all, finally caught up again, lol. Re under bump jeans, I am not loving mine either. They are next ones and lovely and v comfy for the beginning but now I kinda try and hitch them over my bump a bit as it feels too low under and they just feel wrong, restricting too. Deffo prefer the big panel ones. My next black work trousers are my best buy but I got some next jeans off ebay which I also love and look great, except they constantly feel like they are falling down, lol!!
Just thought I would post a picture of a baby gro I made :)

I am well impressed with ur babygro kindof, well done :T

Ive got my anti d injection in the morning, wish me luck, ill let you know how it went later on.

Can I ask a bit of a TMI question please. Still having a small bit of leaking from my bbs (only really if I have a poke around first) but today and the other night a teeny tiny bit of what looked like blood also came out of one. Has this happened to anyone? Spose I could mention it at the hospital tomorrow??

    xx
