If you walk along the road or cycle you can taste them, but at least in the open they have somewhere to go. In the tunnel, it's enclosed it's going to be a lot worse.
It's exactly the same as why smoking has been banned inside pubs.
Oh I see. The air in the tunnels is, apparently, cleaner than the air outside!

Really? When you've seen the worst the Chinese scooter industry has to offer (I have) it's not such an enormous leap to believe that their similarly underpriced electric machines will be equally badly made.

It's unbelievable how many people think that a Baotian or Jonway scooter that costs £500 from some drop shipper on eBay will be as good as a Yamaha/Piaggio etc. costing three times as much. Believe me they're not, and it's not rocket science to realise that the electric bikes will be just as underwhelming. Still, it's your money...

Quite right. If a company produces a bad product it clearly means that all companies in that entire country produce similar products to the same poor standard.

Indeed, I completely agree. It is absolutely impossible for a high quality electric scooter to come out of China.

Some people have such a simplistic view on life.... I imagine they only ever buy british cars like Rover and Ford.... oh wait a minute...... :D

All being well mine will turn up tomorrow, I shall give you my honest opinion. Once it arrives and had a go on it :j.

In my family we have had ,Peugeot, Gilera, PGO and a Boation (Chinese) 50cc scooters. And I have too admit the Chinese one was the poorest built and most unreliable (It was also the newest!) The others were all very solid and well built and had no problems with them. So I do have some experience with scooters, I just hope this is better built than the Boation!!

  • I'm thinking that the drawback on these things is the lack of spares. Any ideas where to get any?

The road, from what people have been saying it sounds like they will just fall apart while being driven, therefore spares will be liberally lieing around
