saving the environment means more than rationing plastic bags at the supermarket checkout.
What!!! You mean that my reusing a couple of carrier bags at Tesco doesn't make up for the 2 billion Chinese, 400 million Indians and 300 million Africans all still burning wood for cooking and heating???
I'm shocked.0 -

I'm shocked.
I think you'll find wood is ok - it's a renewable fuel source which is carbon neutral.
But I agree, scrimping on the odd carrier bag here and there isn't going to make that big a dent in an individual's carbon footprint.
I save them all up and burn them in my Aga with cut up pieces of car tyre the local scrappy gives me for nothing - now that's money saving!

So back to the subject of this scooter..
What do we think guys? Has anyone bought it?0 -
I've purchased one, delivery is next wednesday, Insurance will cost me £175 fully comp. Its a little far for me to use to work as my return journey is 52 miles!! but I plan to use it for small trips which I would normally use the car for in the week. My petrol costs are currently £40 per week so by using the scooter I hope to reduce my petrol costs by £15 per week which all being well will offset cost of scooter, and insurance etc, will post here again once I put that into practice!!0

Please do! I've bought one too. Paid for it with PayPal as they didn't like my credit card directly, for some reason.0 -

Hi Bobbin I'm new here and have been trawling the web looking for any info on electric scooters, especially this elusive beast!
just wondered if the reg pack came with Certificate of Conformity and Type Number (Type Testing). I've asked expansys about this but no reply as yet.
Please, please update us as soon as possible on the usability/quality of the scooter and actual speed/range also if the batteries are marked as 38Ah as I'm very interested in buying one!0 -
Get a bike and save the environment more, and also get fit!0
