    Where does the 8 hours of electricity come from that it takes to get you 30 miles on one of these?

    Potentially worse for the environment than unleaded fuel!

    While electric vehicles remain so inefficient and require so much charging they are not the answer at this time.

    It probably uses less electricity to charge than pumping fuel into your car once you take into account the other filling station electricity overheads.
  • Main benefit would be less emissions at the point of use, its easier to regulate some oil burning power station and it wont be in the lungs of people so much
