n how much do you pay for the phone? :P which version is it
Isn't the camera poor on them too
That's one of the things. It's a worse camera than my relatively old LG has. But for me I'm paying £15/month and don't see any legitimate reason to go to a higher tariff and the biggest downside (besides jailbreaking the phone and/or paying extortionate amount for phone only) for me is that it's only with O2 who I'll never go with again from personal experience. All really depends on your individual personal needs. In my opinion it's a bit pointless arguing that one phone is in general better than another as it's too subjective and dependent on individual factors."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I think the Canon EOS 50D just shades it:D..................................................................0

Less than £185.

The 16 GB 3G SIsn't the camera poor on them too
No.
Well, yes, but the camera on any phone is pretty poor compared to even a cheap compact. Tiny little sensors and cheap little lenses do not a good camera make.
The new iPhone's camera is actually not half bad though.
Regardless, the OP doesn't want an iPhone, so it doesn't really matter.0 -
Any thoughts on them:
Diamond 2
HTC Hero (Android?)
Touch HD.
or wait for:
LG GM730 (LG windows smartphone + s-class)
Samsung Omnia 20 -

I would probably go for the HTC Hero, though reports say it can be a little sluggish; it is basically a two year old phone in a nice case. Android is OK though.
What sort of prices have you found for the above phones?0 -
I am more than satisfied with my HTC Touch HD.
Another phone to consider the new Nokia N97.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

The cheaper contracts on the iphone aren't worth it mainly because the whole point of the iphone is connectivity so you need the "unlimited" data allowances.
I like the iphone but its too expensive and tied to O2. I'm waiting for a decent android handset cos android is a match for the iphones OS. I'm also hoping the Pre does good as well.0
