Hey chaps,
I have a LG Arena (KM900).
But - due to the ammount of bugs and misleading from LG... I'm looking at getting a new phone.
Something what showcases pictures/media/files decent. A good quality camera (Not the highest megapixle - but quality).
Don't want to use a stylus! (yuck!)
Not an iphone! But would like the choice of some decently made apps!
Any ideas?

I'd suggest any of the HTC 'Touch' series of phones. They're incredibly customiseable, and for most there's a choice of Windows Mobile OS. If you have a look here;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/
you'll see all the phones available, and all the applications and modifications possible. The mobiles can, for the most part, be picked up for a reasonable price on eBay.
Much of the recent development in Windows Mobile is devoted to making the OS completely 'finger friendly'. I've been using an HTC p3600 (Orange SPV M700) with Windows Mobile 6.5 for a few months now and it's excellent. I also have a Touch HD which is beautiful. I never use the stylus at all.
The multimedia capabilities are second to none, particularly with the HTC applications.
Hope this helps...0 -

May I ask why? It has the most quality apps, and it does media better than any other phone. You can even edit your videos on it and upload them straight to YouTube.
On the subject of Windows Mobile, I can't articulate just how awful it is. My wife has a Windows Mobile work phone, and I now understand why some people make such a big deal about phones having removable batteries. It freezes frequently, necessitating the removal of said battery in order to get it to work again.
On top of that, it's just plain clunky to use, and doesn't come anywhere near the simplicity or elegance of the iPhone.0 -

but still completely relevant...0

It would be if Apple hadn't released two new iPhones and two major OS updates in that time.
The only one I can see that is still relevant is the non-removable battery.
If you are happy to pay over £35/mth then by all means do so. I just dont see the benefit on iPhone when certain other phones beat it hands down in terms of speed and useability0 -

Such as?
I wouldn't get an iphone because the current 3Gs doesn't really fulfil my needs but that article seems to be iphone bashing for the sake of it. I've found the iphone 3Gs (having had a bit of a go on my brother's) to be pretty impressive but it does have some deficiencies for my priorities."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I was asked for an opinion - so I gave it. I personally think a Blackberry or a Nokia E61i beats an iPhone.0

Is it touchscreen or non-touchscreen? Smartphone or PDA? WM 2003, SE, WM 5, 6, 6.1 Professional, 6.5? TouchFlo? Titanium? Neither? Is it an HTC or Samsung customised phone with their own OS additions? A Sony Ericsson?
I think your dismissive and sweeping generalisation is perhaps a little narrow-minded? My daughter's iPhone loses GPRS connection and texts are often delayed, but I'm not going to say that ALL iPhones are rubbish.0
