Vistaprint only started this sometime last year - it did not happen before that time.

Yes, I do agree that it shouldn't be done.
I clicked on the 'no, thankyou' but it still went through.

That aside, I still think Vistaprint are a great Company.
  • I too have been stung by this, they took two amounts of £9.95 from my bank account, and are refusing to return it as they say I filled in a consumer survey! Am not happy at all plus they have my bank account details.
Give this company a wide berth at all costs.

How can you say they are a great company if not only they took money from you, or tried to. But that after as you say, you clicked on the "no, thankyou" button and they still went ahead. A great company isn't just a company that is reasonably priced or cheap, but one that is open and fair and there are no hidden gimmicks, and one that is upfront with all charges. Free is free, there should be no signups, requests for credit card details etc. That is not the sign of a great company.
  • i got caught and got nowhere with being nice. i complained to www.bbb.org Better business bureau. i got my refund inside 24 hours. All done over the web - very easy. maybe if enough people complain about their method of marketing they will get their wrists slapped.

Vista print's snail address is 100 Hayden Avenue, Lexington, MA. 02421 you will need it for bbb - good luck!

I thought Vistaprint was a British company. Where has this American connection come from ?

I thought it was an American company (Vistaprint Inc) with a British arm (Vistaprint Ltd). It's headquarters is in the USA isn't it?

I didn't know that. Thanks for making that clear.

Hard to keep up with these companies and it isn't obvious as even the .com website will automatically redirect you to the UK site when it detects which country you're from.

  • Last year I constantly received e-mails from Vista Print and having seen the brill deals bought company cards and personalised calendar from them. It isn't until today that I contacted my bank to be told they have deducted £9.95 from my account without my knowledge.

I have e-mailed them and am waiting on their reply, I don't even know my log in ID so goes to show what a scam it is.

    Watch this space!!!

  • Vistaprint are not scammers!

I have used vistaprint for years now, for all sorts of printing.

Since they started this subscribe affair I got caught with it - I simply emailed them and told them to remove me, which they did, at no cost to me.

Vistaprint is a fabulous Company - don't let this put you off.

Here Here, the reason why it's so cheap is because they have all these offers for you to scroll through. No sympathy for people who don't read the small print I'm afraid. I too got an email to say I had subscribed to it (accidentally while checking off the offers) and I simply replied to cancel and nothing was ever taken from my account
