I think the part where you "agree" to join the rewards scheme is when the box offering you £10 off your next order pops up! I could be wrong on this though. These boxes are a pain. Ive just ordered more from them but this time I wil be watching VERY CLOSELY.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

Yeah, just watch closely and you'll be fine.
I won't hesitate to order from VistaPrint again ( although, the Premium cards for my business, not the Free ones)

I have been caught out by this too, never signed up for anything except free business cards.Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching0 -
We are fighting to get our money back from Vista Rewards. We are a company and I order all stationary. At no point have I ever signed up for this, for starters, it wouldn't offer the business any benefits at all, even if I was aware of it. We have pop up blockers on our company computers so I cannot have clicked on one of them.
We only became aware of this when our accountant asked why our old company credit card was still being used, 3 months after we 'closed' the account. This was news to us and we asked the bank to investigate. They told us they could not prevent the payments going out as they are a 'continuous payment' scheme, that only the originator can cancel. We got nowhere with Vista Rewards and it turned into a 15 month fight by our credit card fraud department to get the payment stopped. Our bank has given up back 3 months of payments as a goodwill gesture as Vista Rewards are refusing to refund and you have no card protection on a continuous payment scheme. So my company had to take a loss of over £100 for something we had never signed up for, never had any emails about....etc.
This should not be allowed. It is nothing short of theft in my opinion0 -
What a terrible story. Could you not have taken Vista to the small claims court?0

I noticed - belatedly - deductions on my credit card statements. I phoned them and was told that I hadn't read the small print. I did not sign up to anything - I completed a survey only. I was also told that the amount to be debited monthly is clearly shown. Not true - I certainly would have noticed that. However, they have agreed to cancel this and refund the money within 72 hours! We'll see!0

Hi
I too have recently been caught out by the Vista Print scam. I have ordered address labels from them and they were fine. However, I do not recall giving them permission to take £9.95 a month from my debit card which they have done for the last 3 months. How did you get on when you phoned them and have you had your refund yet? Surely there must be something someone can do to stop this kind of thing?
Regards

I cant believe I fell for this I am usually so careful Like martin always says 'if something sounds too good to be true.....' I clicked on a survey then I read I had signed up to pay 9.95 a mth gutted!!! I then typed it in msn and this forum came up so ive sent an email and will give them a ring tomorrow to follow up luckily I will/should of cancelled it before I get charged. Ive also put it on the confetti website as I know a few of the girls there use it for the save the date magnets etc!!I miss my mum every minute of every day

Vistaprint are not scammers!
I have used vistaprint for years now, for all sorts of printing.
Since they started this subscribe affair I got caught with it - I simply emailed them and told them to remove me, which they did, at no cost to me.
Vistaprint is a fabulous Company - don't let this put you off.0 -

I too find VistaPrint a great company with great unbeatable offers but, I do think they should be more clear about what they get you to sign up to.
Some time ago I discovered that I had unwittingly signed up to a useless reward system that was to cost me around a tenner a month.
I discovered what was happening around 5 to 6 months down the line whilst checking my credit card statements.
I complained about it and said I had no idea I had signed up to paying such an amount regularly and demanded a full refund and any subscription I'd signed to to be cancelled.
They quickly complied.
To this day I cant see any improvement in their system to make things more clear.
They allow people to continue falling for it but refund anyone who complain thus avoiding any legal comeback
Where they win outright is with those who dont notice and allow it to go on. Perhaps the percentages of those who say nothing make it worthwhile.
How many people check their supermarket bills at the till and just accept the amount. I think theres a lot who dont check their credit card that thoroughly either.
From my way of looking at it I'd say yes, it is a scamIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0
