Thanks to this site I was also checking my credit card bill more carefully and spotted they had done it to me too! Their excuse was that as I clicked on the screen I agreed to have 9.99 deducted unless I phoned and cancelled. I was not impressed as I did not click to agree to their scheme. They have been quick to resolve it on the phone - which suggests to me they know they are in the wrong. Thanks again, might not have been looking otherwise!0

I may be a bit thick at times, but there seems to be quite a lot of people who don't check their card statements each month. I thought it is natural to keep all receipts/or make a note of Internet transactions, log the dates of items bought, what they are and who from. Then when the statements come in check everything off. Even if some don't use a dedicated money program such as Quicken or Microsoft Money it is easy enough just to write everything down in a notebook to check off. Not having a dig but can't understand why money savers can go three months without checking their statements properly.0

I received an email to 'remind' me that Vistaprint would be taking out £9.95 out of my account?
Er, hello? I never ever agreed to them taking any money out (apart from
for my order) nor did I click on anything to suggest that they could.
I don't have a problem with their customer service regarding my order with them but this is stupid.
Everyone seems to be skanking you in some indirect way-whether its mobile phone companies or Vistaprint.
It's like you have to be constantly vigilant. You think you've payed a certain and agreed price for something-you check your statement-no probs. Then you bloody get stung a few weeks/months later. Whats that about??
Agree with OP, be careful.Respond to every call that excites your spirit.0 -
Well my bank statement is always about 6 weeks behind. Thats why it took so long for me to be sure that the money had been taken-I was waiting for the next statement. Online banking is far easier for this-I wish I had used my other bank account with Vista print now. I would have spotted it ages ago.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

Ive had 3 refunds of £9.95 now so I'm happy with that. They were very helpful and polite and very understanding in dealing with the problem. As Ive had the refunds, Ive not paid a penny for the cards! Perhaps they will take out the correct fee in the future.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

Did anyone ever get anything from this scheme? I notice the website says 'Save money on all your purcharses'! Not very professional.0

For all those tying to get in touch with VistaPrint try phoning the free phone number on their site 0800 028 8251 (http://www.vistaprint.co.uk/vp/ns/customer_care/contactus.aspx?xnav=needhelp&xnav=FeatureLower) instead of selecting anything that is customer service related you'll find it much easier to get through to somebody if you select sales. It sounds like the company is based in the US?0

I've just ordered some business cards from Vistaprint. I went through the small print with a fine tooth comb but never spotted the £9.95 and I was looking for the catch! Now I've just had an email from them telling me they're taking £9.95 a month. I've sent them a cancellation email and written to my bank telling them I have not set up a DD with Vistaprint. I'll contact Watchdog and I'm going to complain to Amazon as the Vistaprint offer came with a book I bought off Amazon and was supposedly a special offer for Amazon customers. Some special offer!0
