    Hey Gwen

I'm the same, I've ordered lots of stuff off Simply Be - they had a sale and sent me a 25% code too....but the sizing is always a bit dodgy so I order lots and then keep whatever fits properly (not normally much!!!!)

Hope you get Scottish Power sorted out!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

Didn't do too well with my list at the weekend :o Haven't done very well getting things done so far this week either. I'm trying to be positive though. I had my performance review yesterday and the boss is pleased with me, I'm convinced he's ill  I'm hoping I can look forward to a decent bonus next year and maybe a payrise :D

I also got £45 from Quidco yesterday, which I've paid straight to Mr Barclaycard. £40 was for Be Broadband, who are my broadband suppliers, but I didn't purchase it in August through Quidco, so I'm not sure how or why that tracked and paid , not that I'm complaining :D The £5 is from my credit report with Equifax.

I'm really eager for the rest of my Quidco money to pay out, especially the £90 from Vodafone. I'm feeling impatient about the Nationwide bank account now aswell, I just want it done, so that I can get my £50 and move my broadband provider. I'm sure I could save money on it, but don't want to change at the same time as moving my current account. I thought that would be too confusing and would almost certainly lead to problems. No news on the council tax band review either. I really am feeling very impatient about things at the moment

House is a tip, so I should get onto that :o I'm so tired at the moment though, but when I try to sleep, I'm not  It's like I'm overtired or something. Spent last night comping for the most part. Surely I must be due a win soon... Quite enjoy it when I'm in the right mood. Makes me feel like I'm doing something useful. If I could choose I think I'd like the £5k or else I think an ipod/LCD TV or some Selfridges vouchers might be nice...:D

I'm trying to sort out Christmas presents and buying bits and bobs for Christmas (mainly food :D). More than ever, I think I need to avoid the shops. Drifting through M&S tonight, getting my Mum a Christmas card, I realised I could have spent an absolute fortune on random gifts for people, decorations, candles, Christmassy food.... V.v.dangerous. I did make a promise to myself though, that when I live in a house that I enjoy living in, I will treat myself to some lovely Christmas decorations :D

Haven't tried on my bargainous jeans yet, but hoping some fit and look good, otherwise I'm going to freeze my @rse off on Saturday night!

Hi Gwen... nice one on your performance review.... you boss has just realised what we already knew... that you're F Fabulous :A

Oh I hope your quidco pays out soon, I think I'd have my hopes up too much if I was earning that kind of money through it. Luckily I only have about £3 lol I don't understand it all, I guess if anything turns up in my account one day then it'll be a bonus.

How come you've not tried on the jeans yet? How's that possible lol I tried mine on the moment I got my hands on them and they both fit :j

What's the occasion on Saturday? Sorry if you've already said :o

    Good luck with the comps

Thankyou :A I'm pleased. He said I need to step outside of my comfort zone a bit more though. He's right, so next year will be more challenging, but onwards and upwards and all that :D

Do you do your car and house insurance through it? I just follow the instructions on here for either type of insurance and go to a few comparison sites, moneysupermarket, confused.com etc. Then I get the best 5 or so quotes and look on quidco at how much cashback I can get. Then I factor that in and apply for the best deal through quidco. You can do it :D It's the easiest way to make a bit of extra money.

Just been too tired and lazy :o Glad yours are good :D and you've treated yourself to some new stuff.

Just a night out with friends, nothing special, but I've realised I'm a bit lacking in going out clothes :o especially for this cold weather. I'm thinking a strapless top isn't the best idea in these temperatures
    Good luck with the comps

Thankyou :A It's sooo easy! If I'm in the right mood, I quite enjoy it. Having said that I haven't won anything yet

Have you decided what to do with the Green Day tickets? How are the tablets going?

I don't have contents insurance :o Or car insurance yet (will be getting it in Feb) I'm ok shopping through it, I've done most of my online shopping through cashback sites. The bit I don't understand is all the different amounts it shows up. One place looks like I'm due £9 something yet another page looks asthough I'm only owed £2 something  I've got it set so I don't get paid until I'm at least £10 so I guess I just have to wait till it turns up.

Just been too tired and lazy :o Glad yours are good :D and you've treated yourself to some new stuff.

Thankyou :A I've also bought a cardi and a vest top from New Look today (£20), but I do need it for tomorrow night and I've got until 9th December to pay it. (it's on my sisters 0% cc)

Tablets are going great thanks... I've not had any side effects :j Although the side effects are if I have fat so I havent lol So really they're not working the way they're meant to., but they're working by stopping me eating fat :D Early days I know but I'm feeling positive about them.

Since I'm having a much better day I'm keeping the tickets :D

    Hi Bowski!

How are you? I'm ok. Well now it's Friday night I am... Have had a very bad week at work. Feeling quite proud of myself though for still getting everything done despite not having things in place for me to actually be able to do my job - grrrr. Anyway, it is now the weekend :D

Not really many plans for this weekend except doing a billion boring jobs as normal  I might go and see my friend's new baby on Sunday. What about you?

I think I'm taking Christmas Eve off on holiday, then I get Christmas Day to 4th January off :D Cannot wait! I'm going to see family and friends, read books, watch DVD's and I might fit some jobs in. I really need to update my CV and think about what I want to do about my stupid job career.

Are you looking forward to Christmas? I just love having a week off work and catching up with people. Staying tucked up inside with a book and a good film...fantastic :D

Ooh Bowski...while I remember...quidco...what about broadband? You can get cashback for that, gas and electricity suppliers, phone providers...just have a look through the different categories of merchants. I'm not too sure what you mean about the different amounts, they should pay you what they've said they'll pay you on their quidco page. Hope this helps a bit. Persevere with it, it's well worth it :D

Not a good week workwise, but not too bad a week moneywise. Got my cheque from Scottish Power...need to make a trip to the bank to pay it in along with my £100 lottery win :D £90 from Vodafone has finally moved to received on quidco, along with £20 from Halifax, so hopefully I'll be able to pay those towards my Barclaycard before 2010 :T

No news on the council tax band review. Not sure what's happening with my Nationwide move either. Need to look into that. I've put enough money in now to cover all DD's and SO's, so it shouldn't go overdrawn. It's getting slightly difficult to keep track of money at the moment with movements out of the 'Xmas account' and movements into Nationwide to cover possible payments out of there and other things. Quite tricky

I've written a fairly big list of things to do this weekend  I might post it later, but I'm fairly shattered at the moment. Nightmare week at work, involving so many IT problems I could have got things done quicker using pen and paper

Other good news, is that I heard about my insurance claim and they should finally pay out soon, which will be a big wodge to send to Barclaycard :)

Just checked my bank account and I have received £26 from IF. I'm assuming this is interest on my ISA, haven't received a statement though  I'd prefer it to stay in my ISA if possible, so I might try and send that back to them tomorrow. The alternative is that I've reached my ISA allowance for this year. I inherited a bit of money earlier this year, which I put in there and has bumped up my savings for this year. I'm not sure how it works if you reach your limit though  I will call them tomorrow.

Have been too busy to do any surveying, very behind with that, so might do a few now.

I once paid too much into my ISA in a tax year and they sent me a cheque with the cash back. Luckily it was near end of tax year so just waited couple of weeks and paid cheque right back in!

    Aah, new babies very cute!

Nice to have a chill out weekend before Xmas madness starts. I'm out tomrrow to a friends for a Xmas get-together thing but is in the afternoon so nothing big.

Then Sunday nothing planned but have flat on my bike so will be changing that at some point which always takes longer than I expect and gets me more angry and dirty than can be imagined.......
I've got my own flat :j:j
