Hi Bowski (and everybody else)

I just wrote a post and lost it  I'm ok-ish, thanks Bowski. Have got a sickness bug and have been up most of the night. I haven't been sick for a while now, so I've just braved a digestive biscuit :o Whilst I'm relieved the sickness seems to have passed, I have no energy at all and am so achy. My back/neck is the worst, doesn't matter how I sit or lie, it hurts :( Sorry, moaning over now...I'm really not a good patient...

I am still excited about the council tax rebanding Bowski :) I can't believe how easy it was...I expected to have to brace myself for a battle to prove my case, but no, not at all and a really fast decision. I've received a bill from the council today which says that my remaining payments for this year will decrease from £66 to £27  It also says that they will refund ~£526 directly to my bank account. This isn't quite the ~£850 I was expecting...however, I forgot to factor in the single person's discount I get. I'm sure it's right, but I'll do a few calculations to check when I'm feeling a bit better.

You're right Bowski, a very nice amount to send to Barclaycard, can't wait for it to come through :)

Right, I might try and sleep a bit, back later

Thanks Shoe Gal! The refund is good :D It will go into my 'house renovation' savings fund and the difference in the payments remaining this year, will go in there too. Should bump up the sig a bit... Must get on with selling things and MBing next I think. I need to call up, but I'm hoping that the NW move has now gone through, so things should settle down there aswell.

I've got sooo much to do, could really do without being ill...I have done nothing today except sleep occasionally...and have the odd digestive biscuit. Feeling slightly better than I was though, so I'm hoping tomorrow might be more productive. For now, it's an evening of SCD final action with flat lemonade and biscuits...

Thanks Lula, it is!! It says it will reach my bank account within 21 days so it may arrive in January, but that's fine. Just pleased to have gotten it.

Feeling better today :j Just a bit weak still, but that's probably to be expected. I was planning on getting out and running some errands, but after hearing shovelling sounds outside I figured it's either been snowing quite a lot or one of my neighbours is burying something ()!!! A quick peek outside confirmed the first to be correct - phew! So now my plans are to stay at home, perhaps venture to the corner shop for a paper full of trash and watch a bit of TV, ideally Olympia! Yay!

Uh-oh..well, I've been struggling to eat since being ill. Was very light-headed tottering round Tesco's tonight. Have had some dinner (first meal today) and now feel very sick again  Really sick (excuse the pun!) of this now. Need to eat so I have some energy...cannot stomach food...is there anyway lemonade could be considered an adequate diet? No food, just lemonade...

Feel like I'm losing control of everything aswell. The house is a tip, not organised for Christmas, too much to do at work, money stuff to sort out...I am so far behind...and whilst I don't have time to be wishing away, I'm wishing it was Christmas Eve and I could forget about it all. Not sure if it's v.long lasting PMT aswell, but I keep crying at the drop of a hat! I was upset last night, when I heard that Brittany Murphy had died, I got tearful looking at sandwiches in M&S today (looking for something I *might* fancy eating...money from the sandwiches went to Shelter...hence the tears...homeless people at Christmas time...) Now I'm welling up again, !!!!!! is wrong with me???

    Gwen,

sounds to me like you are suffering from temporary blues brought on by illness, not eating, time of year/month & just having too much to sodding well do when you're not yet recovered.

Wrap up warm, partake of hot fortifying liquid & be kind to yourself. You must get something nourishing inside you. During & after any illness I dose DD up with some Tonic - Minadex is very good, vitamins & iron to build you up again. Also love those fizzy mega vitmain C tablets ;)

It will pass, but until it does ... :grouphug:

Thanks girls. You're right, Lula. I'm going to take my vitamins and get a hot drink and go to bed.

I've managed dinner tonight, but it made me feel sick. I'm going to try and eat more tomorrow. This will pass..
