Dropping in again...
Not long to go with the flat now makeup, I bet you're so excited!!!
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the holsHolidays definitely need to become a more regular feature now that I'm getting there with my house renovation savings and the debt is coming down :j
There is a *chance* I may come into some money soon. It's a long story, but it's all very much legalI'm hoping I may be able to pay off some or possibly all of the credit card. Trying not to get my hopes up too much, but it'd be fab if I could. Then I will focus on getting the house situation sorted out, having more of a life and lots of holidays
and paying off the mortgage.
Saw some friends at the weekend and they surprised me with an early birthday present in the form of a Pandora bracelet :A Was totally thrilled, I love it and I've been browsing the Pandora website for other charms I might wantI've never really had any 'proper' jewellry, just stuff from the High Street, so it's a lovely treat. Unfortunately it seems to have started a bit of a jewellry fixation as I keep perusing the Tiffany's and Links of London websites
Back soon

I've just moved all my 'house renovation' savings to a Birmingham Midshire ISA at 2.7%. That's a bit better. ~£3k of it was previously earning 0.1% with A&L  Glad I've got that sorted. Just need to set up my direct debit to go from my current account and it should be sorted.
I'm currently saving £150/month for house renovations and paying £50/month to the credit card. If the money materialises, I'd be able to save £200/month for house renovations  Fingers crossed!

I've been doing some calculations and since I started my diary I have saved myself £90/month on fixed outgoings (gas, electricity, council tax, phone, broadband etc, etc) :T
At the moment that money is mine and if I'm honest I've been treating myself a little bit with itNow I'm proposing that from September onwards I will tighten up the budget a bit again.
My financial focus for the rest of this year will be to sort out my mortgage and make some extra money.
