    Hello fabby girl :hello:

I totally sympathise on the sleeping while on meds issue. Previous to taking anti Ds I didnt suffer with sleep problems although my doctor was most surprised. I soon started to suffer while on them though. That & the 'loose' effect on my digestive system was one of my reasons to get off them asap. I didnt want to start trying different types, get used to them, become emotionally dependent on them & settle. I wanted to get 'me' back.

Again, I completely understand how you feel about meeting people, having started on the meds I convinced myself that I was completely bonkers & that everyone would be able to suss this out or see me as a completely sad, pathetic victim type :o. Obviously now I know that I was wrong on both counts ... ok, maybe I am a bit bonkers, but now I dont care :p:D.

It might not help you but these days I find that a nice warm bath, some yoga stretches & peppermint tea really help me relax before bed. Not very rock n roll but far healthier than other non prescription relaxation aids I've tried & with less side effects too.

Failing all the above, I will sentence you to do some hard labour on our allotment

    thinking of you

    xx

Thankyou again for the lovely messages :A Baby steps indeed Souk...I feel rather more human today, but groggy and lethargic. I've managed to eat proper food though and taken my vitamins. I took the AD this morning and so far it seems to have worked out ok. I've felt fine during the day and I think I'll sleep ok tonight, so that might be the way forward.

I am starting some counselling next week alongside some yoga and I'm hoping that will help.

I wish the weather was better aswell, makeup. I might be more inclined to go out for a walk if it stopped raining.

I got ~£86 from Quidco and I've already moved it over to the credit card and adjusted my sig. I will reach my savings target in the next month, so I'm debating what my next target will be. I'm thinking I will try and save £5k for more work on the house...it never ends :(

What an odd week...it sort of passed me by in a haze of either sleeplessness or non-stop sleepiness. Sooo weird... Sleep pattern is still somewhat erratic. I woke up at about 5.30 this morning, couldn't get back to sleep for hours, then eventually managed to sleep tilll 12pm

I'm at my Mum's for the weekend :D She bought me 6 Cadbury's Creme Eggs :A Yum!! Got a few things to do, but mainly I'm going to chill and spend some time with my Mum. Seeing POF man on Monday evening, so hopefully that'll be nice.

    Happy Easter everybody! :easter_os

    Hey Gwen

You've not been around recently - hope all is well???

I'm so glad the weather has picked up - hope it is nice your way.

I got some daffs on the weekend at Tesco for £1 and they have really brightened up my flat!

    Take care

Yeah, I'm ok makeup. The dumping was confirmed by POF man on Saturday via email and I've been pondering (in between sleeping, of course! :rotfl:) and licking my wounds. I emailed him back this afternoon. The conversation when I last saw him got rather deep, I think he shared more than he was planning to and is now rather freaked out. I'm hoping my email might calm him a little and make him rethink things. If not, I can move on knowing I gave things my best shot.

I saw your post on SAID about mortgages. I wish I could help, but I'm rubbish with it all. I think I got my fixed rate through Bradford and Bingley, but it was 6 years ago now and I've just sat on my lender's SVR (which isn't good :() ever since that ended because I'm too scared to commit to another fixed rate!!

The improved weather is nice. I'm wondering if it's safe to remove the shovel from the boot of my car now! :rotfl:

The insomnia seems to have passed now, but I have no short term memory whatsoever, which is slightly frightening. I had thought I was being completely useless because of the sleep issues, but I'm starting to think the AD's are affecting my memory. Hopefully this will pass too.
