Seriously though, too many variables - but you must do what will make you feel pretty and confident - ignore Monster-in-Law (she can probably remember Diana Dors' chiffon nighties....).

And that reminds me of my top tip. If you're wearing white trousers always wear flesh coloured knickers underneath if you don't want everyone to see exactly what sort of knickers you're wearing. White ones will and do show through.

Another tip of mine, relating to yours, would be PLEASE dont wear cheap white trousers. EVER.

Those horrible flimsy wide legged ones that people seem to wear in the summer, show EVERYTHING. Flesh coloured pants or not, we CAN see your bum. And if you've got dark hair, then Im afraid to say it, but your bush shows through too.

Its to do with tit size though isnt it?

A hint of bra on a small titted girl looks ok, but on a big bosomed lass, it does look a wee bit cheap.

Agreed on the white trousers front (oops - pun).

Have to say though that I used to be famous for my all-white outfits in my y,f,s days.
(Clothes were better made then though - I promise.)
