"Is there a good reason to send the Letter Before Action to the 'legal address' rather than the 'regular' address?"
Actually, just found out the latest (!) T&C ask you to send (legal) paperwork regarding claims to:
Mobile Affiliates Ltd
Opus House,
Priestly Court
Staffordshire Technology Park
Stafford
ST18 0LQ

Yes; the first is the registered address.0

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a copy of the Coolnewmobile T&C's for the end of April 2007?
I'm about to file a claim against these cowboys but Im just missing this document.
I can't wait to meet these mentally and morally challenged monkeys in court, every letter they write me just digs themselves a bigger hole for me to bury them in!
Thanks0 -
You won't. They'll never turn up in court IF it gets that far, which I doubt. I have them (March - didn't change until July) but can't really post them on here! You should be able to find them on the internet archive site. Search on Google.0

ok thanks i'll have a look in the archives and see if I can find a copy. If anyone happens to have saved off a copy, please PM me, I would be very grateful!
Shame they wont turn up though, id love to see the faces behind the emails. Looking at the email headers, they love to share the same pc for answering emails, they just hit reply and change the signature and pretend to be more organised than they are! :T0 -
Pretence is their real name! I wouldn't worry about the t&c - you won't need them until you progress; I expect they'll pay before then if you have a good case.0

Anyone still get cash back from Phoneboxdirect/Coolnewmobile? I received an e-mail on 4/10 that refund cheque should be sent out in 10 working days, over a month later the cheque is still not there. I wrote them a week ago but still haven't heard any thing . That was phone bough from PhoneBoxDirect. I also received e-mail on 23/10 confirm that a cheque (for different claim for phone bought through CoolNewMobile) should arrive in 10 working days, but I still haven't received anything. I didn't realise at first that the 2 are the same company. Now I'm getting nervous.0

I wouldn't just yet. They are still paying; depends if you're prepared to help them make up their minds to do so or not.0

Just waiting on my last payment now. They told me they received it (15th Oct) and are scheduling it for assessment (3rd Nov).
I'm now on my second cashback deal with CoolNewMobile, started in September. Realised I've heard nothing about the 3-month free insurance - last time I got letters in the post about it.
I'm coming up to the end of the 3 months now so I need to cancel it (if I have in fact got it) before they start charging me for it. Has anyone got the phone number to cancel it?
Thanks!0 -

Same timescale with me!, Emailed me on 4th Oct then nothing! I emailed them on 30 Oct to ask what was happening with the cheque etc still no answer, so tomorrow I send the LBA.
One question I have though is if it does go to court am I suing them for the full contract amount or just the first cashback I am currently owed (to have to go through this crap 4 more times infuriates me)?You can't go wrong with carpet bombing...0
