It doesn't. It says:
"Recorded Signed For™ items are only tracked after the item has been delivered. Depending on whether the item was sent first or second class, this may be a few days after posting. Please try again later.
Information on your item is not yet available online."0 -

i had something similar. if it has been a few days i wuld call rm. often these are multiple delivries signed for at once.0 -
Usually if it's actually been delivered it at least says something like "it left our delivery office this morning and will shortly be delivered if it hasn't been already". I have had one recently somewhere else that stayed like that but they sent me the signature and confirmed delivery - but not sure it's the same if it doesn't even say that! I would call RM and check - however, as I understand it Recorded Delivery isn't essential for a LBA in any case.0

I've had that message a few times.
Regardless of whether or not you need it, you paid Royal Mail for a service, confirmation of delivery, and you didn't get it. Phone them up and ask, nay demand, a copy, its a real pain-in-the-proverbial. Almost always seems to happen with that Bingham postie.
Usually, on asking, it comes instantly by email with a .pdf attachment to print out.
BTW, you really ought to have a confirmation of delivery for a LBA. Always ties it all up nicely for court - leave no chinks (with no disrespect to chinks intended). The bankers stole my pension (and everyone else's). It should have earned a lot of money, but they took their bonus pot first.0 -
Hiya,
would someone be able to confirm whether I am sending in the correct bill?
connected on 27 June, 27/06/07 + 120 days = 25/10/07.
have received a bill dated 25th October, is this the correct one to send, or does it need to be at least the 26th?
Thanks,
MaddieProud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
Hi, I now just email royal mail instead of ringing them and waiting on phone for ages. Just put tracking reference no. in the subject field and and tell them in email that you have tried to track it on rm web but it does not show any updates. Please could you email me proof of delivery or proof of signature? So far it seems to be working and they do reply with proof in few days. The email is pod.team@royalmail.com
I hope it helps.I sent an 'informal request' to them and then an LBA after not receiving a reply. Both letters were sent by first class recorded delivery to their address at Stafford but none of them have been tracked under Royal Mail Track and Trace.
Can I assume that they have received both letters but simply not signed for them or have they actually got lost in the post - twice to the same address? (or refusing to accept knowing that they might be one of these letters?)0 -
I've now sent them a completed P58 form saying that the item was lost. Even if it might have been delivered without a signature, I have paid the recorded delivery fee of 70p for it. I will demand this fee back if they say that it has been delivered but not signed for.0

yes it is standard for them to confirm they will be defending. I would expect a call from someone in their marketing dept in the next 2-3 weeks. If they do offer you some money, make sure u get them to pay your court fees too. Good luck!0
-
It wasn't a court notification - merely a LBA so there is unlikely to be any call. They will either pay up (most likely if they received it) or ignore.0

I noticed that there are two addresses going round for CNM / Mobile Affiliates.
Is there a good reason to send the Letter Before Action to the 'legal address' as per Keith:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=6538924&postcount=1037
Mobile Affiliates Ltd
Opus House,
Priestly Court
Staffordshire Technology Park
Beaconside
Stafford
ST18 0LQ
rather than the 'regular' address?
Cool New Mobile / Mobile Affiliates Ltd,
P.O. Box 8895
Bingham

Thanks for your help, Tico.0
