Can you still get the cashback if you can't complete the transaction online?
i.e. when put postcode in get directed to phone number as am in analogue rather than digital cable area. It's still cable (as per Quidco site) but how will Quidco know you've completed to pay you?
If your not in a Virgin Media Cable Area your probaly get Virgin Media National and the cashback is only £60. But you musy sign up via cashback site to get any cashback.

However, when I go onto the website it appears I can only get (after putting in my postcode) phone and broadband, so I wouldn't be able to use the cashback offer as it's not the total package, but I want the total package. What to do?
It does not say you have to take a triple bundle.
it suggests you get £150 for all cable package / bundles0 -
You must have been unlucky with Virgin.
I have had Virgin broadband for years, and I have not had any difficulties with speed or reliability. If my Internet has hung occasionally, rebooting either the computer or the router does the trick. The old NTL customer service used to be appalling but the new Virgin Media customer service is so much better.
Having compared the cost to other suppliers, I am convinced I cannot get a better deal anywhere else. All I pay is £21.03 for 20mb unlimited download broadband, , about 20 free cable channels, telephone line rental, unlimited calls to all landlines at anytime, discounted calls to mobiles and international numbers, catchup tv (including bbc iplayer, 4 on demand), email, virus checker, free modem, wireless router and lots more! Unfortunately, I do not qualify for the cashback as I am already a Virgin customer. I don't think it is worth the hassle of leaving Virgin to join it again, and the cashback is not guaranteed. I will stick to my £21 a month Virgin deal.:rotfl:I've been a Virgin customer for years, I'm in the process of moving away as broadband is so poor - after 6pm it is unuseable. Have reported this several times, customer service sucks.... they take around 48 hours to respond, generally quoting the wrong problem and have never resolved the problem despite me keeping on reminding them, they just really just couldn't be a*d.
Another thing to watch out for is that they will put up their prices then offer new customers special deals so you could end up paying way over the top. They will haggle though if you give them a call.
Shame the broadband is so bad... maybe it's just a local thingInteresting Person

Virgin have TERRIBLE customer service , the call center staff have very little product knowledge , and can be extremely rude and unhelpful , promises are made then broken , this can cause lengthy delays if you have no BB connection .
If you have a billing dispute with them , and dont pay, they will pass your account to a debit collection agency , without hesitation . Once it is passed to the agency, then you really will have problems ....0 -
if i go for just broadband will i get the full £150?0

Just a warning with getting this through Quidco - if you order the V+ box, be prepared to have your cashback declined - this is because Virgin won't compelte the transcation until you phone them and pay the installation fee upfront via debit/credit card, thus breaking the chain. This happened to me in March - they actually declined it the day before it was installed - I queried it with Quidco and it eventually validated in June but still waiting for it to switch to "received". I don't understand why Quidco don't put this up as a "warning" as I have advised them of this happening.
Has anyone else had bother with this? I've just ordered the media package with V+, however on quidco my orders status is Validated. I'm worried its not going to work now as I still have to phone Virgin and pay for installation
Any thoughts???
Thanks0 -

You will really have problems if you get court sentence against you, you refuse to pay, and bailifs are sent to your place.
Debt collection agency is just a commercial enterprise without power.
Oh yes, they use red paper letters, they are bullying, intimidating, telling about removing goods, but that's all.
Nobody can enter your property and remove any goods without court sentence.
But surely if you owe genuinely you'd be better to pay to not incur further costs as it is unlikely for court to taking your side.0 -
I'm currently a Virgin broadband customer. Does anyone know if that rules me out as a new customer for the cable TV/phone package?0

hi, i've just signed up though quidco as well.
on the direct debit screen were it asks for your payments it mentions about one off payments their so i presume they will just take the £49 from that account. probably worth checking bank statement.
i may be wrong thoughIf your lucky enough to be irish, your lucky enough0 -
