So sorry to hear about the dog.
You really seem to be steaming along, especially with the PPI claims.Ebay challenge 2010 - £525

Goooooooood Morning
Got a fantastic response from Halifax today re my PPI reclaiming and they are paying us back just over £2000:j:j:j:j:j:j.
They aren't offsetting it against our balance, well about £300 to cover arrears and over credit limit. The rest will be added to my pot to offer F&V's and I think I will treat the kids to something as well as they have been really good in not asking for stuff:o.
Nowt much else to report - Mint sent a letter saying that are payment is unrealistic but will accept it short term:rolleyes:.
Going start reclaiming charges for a friend now! Maybe I should do it on a commission basis:rotfl:.0 -
Wow that is fantastic - hopefully we will be as successful as you with the PPI and charges! Fingers crossed.Ebay challenge 2010 - £525

I'm still really jealous of your PPI reclaim - I only wish I had taken PPI out now so that I could claim it all back:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hi Gar
Been a bit hectic here with school stuff and OH work so not had much time for MSE:eek::eek:.
PPI claims came through this week via cheque so lodged and will transfer to a new savings account when cleared.
Halifax had intially put the money back onto our credit card but then sent us a cheque, however whilst the credit was placed on our card they reduced our limit now it looks like we are sitting £1700+ over limit  and they are chasing us to make this payment.
Quick question (I will post on CCA thread as well): What do I do now I have sent the letter 'account in dispute' - we are still getting calls from some of the creditors and trying to explain to the indian callers what we have done seems to fall on deaf ears:rolleyes:.
I will catch up with your thread after a get the little one to nursery0 -
Hi Blue,
When you answer the phone don't confirm any security questions - simply state you have requested all correspondence in writing and will not be discussing the matter by telephone - then you can put the phone down
Stupid Halifax.......................but I do wish they would send me a cheque - then they could chase me all they want:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm going through the same thing, the creditors keep sending bills saying I've not made my monthly payment (duh!!!!) and slapping charges on. I've written giving them 14 days to remove the charges etc, and then I plan to proceed to a complaint with the FO. I'm already taking this route with Barclaycard.
Nice to have you back - its tough fitting everything in!:jLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hi Gar
Do you have a template letter stating about the charges to be ceased or a referral to FO will happen?
Really need to get focused again as I have let it slip a bit:eek:.
Right, just popping out and will be back soon!

Just thought I would update my dairy as it has been a while:o.
I seem to have lost focus a bit with our DMP as we aren't really being chased much and things seem to have settled down.
I have no further PPI/Bank charges to reclaim either so I haven't even had that to focus on:p.
Well off to find some answers re CCA requests.0
