    Hi

I've not been on much lately. Im off work sick at the moment. Im loaded with the cold and i feel terrible. I can hardly sit up i just feel so weak.

I've got so much to do in the house and no energy to do it. I've not put anything on ebay for a while and most of the things were on a 10 day listing that will finish today. At the moment i've got ten things selling with at total of £18.84 there are quite alot of things being watched but will just need to see if they sell later.

Not doing too well with my November MBNA challenge i've only managed to get £50.00 together and i still have £100.00 to go and only 8 days to go which means id need to make £12.50 per day and i just don't think thats going to be possible.

As i've been off sick im not going to get paid from my 2nd job next week so i will be struggling a bit then.

Am going to go back to bed for a few hours to see if i can make myself feel a bit better

Thanks EagerLearner. Im still not feeling great my cold seems to have gone into my chest so my body hurts from coughing so much! I cant get an appointment at the doctors as i've not had the cold for longer than a week so they wont do anything

The ebay listings that finished last night did alot better than i expected ending up making about £66 which is good and it means i've managed to get rid of another box full of stuff out the house!!!

I transferred £50 out my Paypal account, however, have had to give this to my mum to pay for postage charges for items already posted and money to post the remaining items once i receive payment. i've already got £41 in my Paypal account from other people that have paid and am still awaiting around £25 to come in. So hopefully i'll be able to transfer that out in a day or two and this can go towards my November MBNA challenge. I received a cheque payment for another item today so have put that towards my MBNA challenge bringing my total to £53.94 only £96.06 to go :rotfl: :rotfl:

I've still got one item selling for 99p and 4 items out of 71 being watched :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Only plus point is that all my fees are paid and my mum has enough money to cover postage for all items so any money that i receive will be mine!

I got a phone call today from a mystery shopping company wanting me to do a job which i will get £5 for plus expenses. Its in the town i live so no travelling but am not sure whether its worth it. Any ideas???

I really want to get this house tidied but everytime i start to do something i end up having to sit down.... Its not much fun sitting looking at the mess and not being able to tidy up  At least i've not had to suffer daytime tv sky + is a life saver it meant i could watch all those programmes iv just not had time to and i've also watched the DVDs i've not has time to watch before now ;)

Anyway am going to go sit back on the couch now before i fall off my seat! In fact i might just try and move the couch in front of the pc so i can still read all the posts on this site :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just an update on the mystery shopping. Had a long hard think about it and for the sake of £5 its just not worth doing it. I would need to inform the inland revenue and im still not feeling 2 good so don't think sitting in a pub for 45mins would be ideal at the moment. I know im supposed to be trying to get all the extra cash i can but for the initial outlay its just not worth it.

I think im actually going to remove myself from their list.

Plus point i have another item selling on ebay so total at the moment is 1.98 woo hoo !!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have managed to tidy up a bit today and have another 3 boxes of stuff looked out for ebay just need to find the time and energy to list them now

Well i didn't make my target of £150 for November I only managed £81.31 which i suppose is better than nothing. It could have been so much worse at least i've overpaid some money towards my credit card.

I've decided to reduce my December target to £200 as i couldn't make the £150 needed for November but i already have £88.10 towards my MBNA card. £85.41 is the minimum payment for December and £2.69 that i already paid to my card from a cheque received through ebay.

I received £150 through quidco for December but im not going to include this towards my MBNA challenge as i need a bit of extra money for xmas. I've had one night out so far but another 2 xmas works nights out coming up. Both of them have been paid for but i reckon i'll need at least £30 for them and i've got the football on the 14th December that i'll need about £30 for which will include my train fare, dinner and a programme. I also need to fill up my car with petrol which will cost about £60 for 2 weeks!! The rest of the payment is going to be there incase of an emergency (theres always one around xmas)

I have a few things selling on ebay totalling £20.95 and 16 items being watched so im hopefull that i'll make around £50.00.

Im going to take a list of my books and videos into work to see if anyone wants to buy any of them off me and hopefully make a few pounds through selling them.

    Will update again soon

    Hi Buddiebabe,

I've just read your thread for the first time and am really impressed - with your determination and working so hard!

The thing that stands out to me is you are working every minute - two jobs and all that ebaying. Could you not find another job that would pay more and allow you a bit more time for yourself and all the other things that have to be done. You sound a really competent and responsible person, an employer would be lucky to have you and I'm sure you could earn a bit more.

Another thought - if you worked closer to home you could save all that petrol money (don't know if that's possible of course).

Good luck with it and I will follow your progress with interest from now on.

Well done BB - you've had a great payout from Quidco - imagine what it would have been like without that £150! How do you make most of your money on there?

I use it at work but as of end of December the office will be shut down so may not be able to use it for work reasons anymore as will have to find another job! There's always personal needs but they are so much smaller than those big office purchases...

Seaxwyn is right - you work so, so hard - could you not get a different job that was closer to home? It would make a big difference to the spare time you have and also to your pocket, what with the cut in petrol and all.

Are you on Pigsback as well as Quidco? Mr EL and I have made £60 so far on there in 4 months.

Well i well and truly messed up again. I went onto an online casino for the first time in ages and managed to spend £1000+. I cant believe how stupid i've been. I'd been doing really well but have just felt so fed up lately i thought it might cheer me up... how wrong could i be... it just made me feel so much worse and like an idiot.

So now i need to start all over again. I just hope that this time im going to be able to stick to it this time.

I just feel so down just now. I've so much to do in the house and just no motivation or energy to do it. The only thing i manage to do when i get home from work is check my emails and ebay account then i get tired and go to bed. I just wish i could sleep for a week or ten. Im sitting here crying while i type this cause i just feel so bad. Im never going to be able to pay everything off if i keep messing up... I try and keep smiling when im at work and not let anyone see how im feeling but its getting harder to do.

Im tempted to just give up and start again in the new year but i know that wont help me.... so im just going to have to try harder.

Ok the worst of it is as follows:

    BARCLAYCARD: £5200.00
    MBNA: £4633.30
    MORGAN STANLEY: £2108.54
    TESCO: £2378.33
    SKY: £907.60
    ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND: £9827.22

    TOTAL OUTSTANDING DEBT: £25054.99

Im off to bed now but am going to have my work cut out for me to get these balances down asap! I just cant believe how stupid iv been.

    Sorry for going on
