Well since my last update 3 days ago i've had the worst few days in a long time. I've well and truly messed up.... i've been gambling again... things were going so well but there's always something that crops up.
This time it was the washing machine.... its broken and has been taken away to get repaired at the cost of £95!!! then my neighbour tells me that there are problems with the roof and its probably going to be at least £1000 per flat to get repaired.... well that was enough to send me over the edge... i have no idea what im going to do now... i really really just feel like giving up i dont know what to do anymore..................
The worst of it is as follows:
OVERDRAFTS:
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND £650.00 OD
TOTAL £650.00
LOANS:
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND £12300.96 (49 payments to go)
MUM £775.00
TOTAL £13075.96
CREDIT CARDS:
MBNA £4200.00
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND £8000.00
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND 2 £4388.00
TESCO £1100.19
TOTAL £17688.19
TOTAL OUTSTANDING £31414.15
My boyfriend has just came in and found my sitting here crying and staring into space.... I don't know what to do...
The bad days seem to be getting worse and more often than they were and im really worried im going to do something silly.
I have all these plans and things i want to do but i never ever get round to it there is always something that comes up.
I might not be posting very much... not that i did much lately anyway but the only way i might be able to get through things is by staying off the computer.

Its not a pretty picture. I have undone all the work i've done throughout the year. The only good thing is that im feeling a bit more positive about starting again.
My new debt free date is going to be October 2014
My boyfriend is supportive... i let him read my online diary.... he says that it explains quite alot of things that i do and he was glad i let him see it.
I know i dont make enought in my main job to pay all the bills.... it does cover all the standing orders and direct debits that come out my account. The money my partner gives me is used to be put away for all the essentials, car insurance, road tax, gas bill, house insurance. I have a second job that i can usually use to pay for petrol and food so am going to struggle to pay everything but i'll find a way... i'll just have toIts my mess and im going to get out of it... hopefully with the help of people on here and my partner.
I know i wont be able to make any overpayments to my debts in the next few months but i'll be happy if i can meet the minimum payments until christmas and hopefully by then get my debt down to £30000 by 31.12.08.
In order for me to get my debt down to £30000 i need to reduce it by £2544.85. My loan payments from now till december are £251.04 x 5 = £1255.20 which means i still need to pay back £1289.65 over 5 months which is £257.93 per month (now my minimum payments are usually more than that anyway... but that doesnt include the interest) so my aims for this month are as follows:
1. I want to make payments of £300.00 to my debts this month not including my loan
2. Get the living room cleaned, tidied and de-cluttered
3. Do all the ironing that is currently littering the livingroom!
4. Complete my previous goals of 10 things... ebay, clicks, ironing and competitions
Anyway 2moro is a new day and i intend to start again from then... wish me luck

Hi Buddiebabe,
I've been lurking on the MSE for a couple of years while i've been trying to deal with my own debts.. and I've had many setbacks and know how disappointing it can be. Everyone on the forums is so supportive and inspiring.. I think you've got a great attitude too and I love that you've come back with so much enthusiasm.. I've never posted before, but I wanted to wish you luck for your new start!
Can't wait to hear your progress!!!

Hey
lorrsmac thanks for your kind comments and words of encouragement.
Just thought i'd post a quick update before i go to bed!!!
I came home from my 2nd job last nite and the house was a mess so i cleaned the bathroom, hoovered the hall and livingroom, hung up the washing then started cleaning the kitchen and clearing out the food that was out of date..... it was just getting me down so much and it felt so much better to sit down knowing that some of the house was tidy.
I didn't do so well today. I need to get to work between 8am and quarter past to get a parking space and i didn't get up until later so i decided not to make my lunch or have breakfast and just try to get there in time for a parking space. I got to work at 8.20am and the car park was full  so i had to park at the local tesco and walk for 10 mins to get to work. As i didn't have breakfast or bring anything in for lunch i ended going out and buying a subway and spending money on food i could have got so much cheaper or could have brought from the house  I was so annoyed with myself.
I have made my lunch for 2moro and the alarm is set for half an hour earlier just to be on the safe side
I went to the doctors tonight and all the tests that she had done came back ok so that was a weight off my mind. I spoke to her about how id been feeling lately and how the first few weeks on the tablets i found really hard and how down i really felt. Ive to stay on them for a while to see if things start to improve and go back in a few weeks.
I did get some good news. My neighbours in the next block are moving :j they have 4 kids and they have wrecked my fence and are always running through the garden. Since i've heard that i've had such a feeling of relief and the prospect of being able to sit in my garden makes me want to go out and tidy it up.
On the debt front my tesco card had the interest added to it yesterday bringing the total owed to £1629.90.
I have paid the £7.70 that i owe on the Skycard and that is now cleared :j
I have paid £29.90 to the tesco card today so the balance is now £1600.00
Its half price listing day on ebay on Thurdsay so am going to relist the 200 odd items that didn't sell last time and im going to see if i can list another 10 things... am working both jobs on Thurdsay so am going to struggle for time but will try my best!
I want to make payments of £300.00 not including the loan so have made payments of £37.60 so i still have payments of £262.40 still to make this month.
I have decided that is my target to get debt down to £32000.00 by August 31st so bring it on :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
