Please don't have a go at me i don't think i could take it.
Why would we have a go at you? You're not the first, and you won't be the last. It's not as shameful as you think, after all it's not like you've been up on on the hills to frolic with the sheep.
(Baaa!) What was that?
Things that you can do:- Install a piece of software called GamBlock on your PC
- Phone your card operators and tell them you don't want to be able to spend money on gambling
- Go to Gambler's Anonymous - I know you might not think it's that bad, but you are probably more addicted to it than you think.
There was a few interesting threads about gambling on this board quite a few weeks ago now, if you use the search facility, it will bring them up.

Well today's been my first casino free day and its made me feel so much better. I was working most of the day and then spent tonight watching tv, reading the paper and doing competitions. I think im going to be able to do this with all your help.
I've got so many other things i can do in the house rather than spend hours gambling away money i dont have.
The plan for 2moro is to get my livingroom tidied and then sort out some stuff to list on ebay. Im going to try and do the October ebay challenge. I've got 104 things listed at the moment... all of them have been on before and so far only one is selling for £9.95 so that should be £9.00 after fees so i can update my signature with that and hopefully focusing on ebay should keep me occupied. The other thing im going to need to do is check pigsback and quidco to see if there's anything i've missed. Oh there's also the ironing but i dont really get any money for that so whats the pointapart from not having stuff to wear to work on Monday :rotfl: :rotfl:
Just wanted to say thanks again for all the support and kind words im going to bed tonight feeling alot happier than i did this time last nite
nite nite

Well today i didn't manage to get out of bed until 1pm ... i must have needed the sleep. I wanted to get lots done today but have spent most of the day on the couch watching tv! at least i've not been spending money!!!
It's another casino free day for me today so its all good :j
My house insurance is due up on the 19th October so i managed to get a quote that was £110 less than my renewal quote and i also managed to do it through quidco so hopefully it should give me £100 cash back, however, its not tracked yet but should overnight ( keep ur fingers crossed ) meaning my insurance would only cost £56.00 :j
I've managed to list 8 things on ebay tonight so im hoping that some of them if not all will sell.
I've managed to put £32.62 away towards my MBNA card today (well the cheques written and it will go into the bank 2moro) So only £292.38 to go and only 23 days to do it in so thats £12.71 per day
I did manage to check my quidco and pigsback accounts today so at least i did some of the things i wanted to get done... shame i've still not got the ironing done:rotfl:
Willl update again soon

Well done BB - put post-it notes around the house motivating you and telling you how much you have paid off your debts!
Definately put a post-it note near your pc re: staying motivated, which will act as a secret code for you against gambling. Every £10 you used to spend on gambling will then be £10 towards your debt from now on.
Making handmade greeting cards is a great hobby and saves money when birthdays/Christmas etc come around!
Well done and keep on posting!MFW #185

Hi there
Well its been 7 days since i last visited an online casino. Its been a hard few days. I've been working most of the week but its when i get home from work that i find it hard so instead of logging onto the computer when i get back from my 2nd job i've been logging onto the pc before i go to work and then keeping it switched off when i get home and just watching tv. Only problem with that is i keep missing out whats happening on here :rotfl:
I think that now the first week is over it might be a bit easier, well im hoping
The only bad thing thats happened this week is that my car had to get serviced and there were a few problems with it so it ended up costing me £405.00 to get fixed  so its left me with no money left from my wages this month which mean its going to be a bit of a struggle this month but im just going to have to get on with it!
DEBTS OUTSTANDING:
BARCLAYCARD £5270.00 now £5180.00

TOTAL PAID OFF TO DATE £1917.42
MBNA challenge update:
I've managed to put £257.99 away towards my MBNA card this includes my minimum payment for November. So only £67.01 to go and only 17 days to go so thats £3.94 per day. Im going to try and get this £67.01 by selling things through ebay.
Ebay's not been doing too well lately, however, im going to look out some more stuff tonight and tomorrow and get listing like crazy 2moro afternoon.
Will update again soon

You're doing good! That's a smidge under a grand per month. :T
Instead of watching TV isn't there somewhere/something you could be doing while the evenings are still reasonably light?

Thanks ZTD
The only reason my debts gone down that much is due to me getting my grampa's money so im going to really struggle to pay any extra towards my debt from now on as the overtime at work has stopped. im going to have to ebay like mad
As for doing something else at night i work in my second job till 8.30 usually but the past week its been 9pm so the only thing i feel fit to do is collapse on the couch and watch tv! I do have lots of housework and ironing that i could do but its not very stimulating either :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Off to start ebaying now will update again soon

Well as an alternative, you could get yourself along to the Old Style board and do some of their recepies in a "batch cooking" kind of way. It'll save hassle at night, and for lunches if you can just heat something you'd prepared earlier.
The chocolate and beetroot cake is very nice..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Well im in the process of listing some items on ebay so if anyones interested in any womens fiction books im in the process of listing all my Jilly Cooper books and some Point Horror books i've found cluttering up my book case!! I don't know why i keep books cause once i've read them i know i wont read them again but keep them anyway!
So from now on as soon as i finish a book i'll be listing it on ebay!!!
As for the batch cooking ZTD im going to make a lasagne tonight which should do me for lunch for the next few days too! The idea of chocolate and beetroot cake doesn't sound that good i don't like beetroot :rotfl: :rotfl:DEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970
