I just wish I could find a window cleaner. If anyone on this board is in Cardiff and knows one wo will turn up and do the job (just a two bed terrace), please let me know.0

Mine is £5.90 in Lancashire. They come round every month. That's for 14 windows (7 upstairs/7 downstairs). I thought that was pretty reasonable, considering friends in Hertfordshire pay £20 :eek:0

We have a 2 bedroom mid terrace in Cheshire. Our window cleaner charges £4 every 4 to 5 weeks (although I'm sure it's sometimes £4.50...). They do 6 windows (he can't get to the bathroom due to the lean-too and the garage).
Is it me or is every 2 to 3 weeks too often? That's how often he wanted to do them, and I said once a month was too often. Took ages to train him to come no more than once a month, so got a few free washes in the meantime. I did keep telling him.0 -
Ours charges 50p per window, and we're in Lancashire. He comes round regularly, think it's about once a month. But he doesn't come round for payment all that often so it mounts up sometimes!0

Hello
I think I can shock you all, our last window clean - in April - was £75.:o
The previous one charged £120, so a decrease of £45 - I was well chuffed, and the new guy used one of those telescopic cleaning thingy's with the funny water, and they look absolutely stunning.:D
We do have an enormous amount of windows, 21 downstairs plus 6 glazed doors, and about 30 windows upstairs, some of them are quite large, and some have lots of fiddly bits, and 2 conservatories and 3 glazed porches, not a five minute job by any means.
We have paying guests so we have to have it done a couple of times a year. I do not have this done every couple of weeks, but as soon as they are done, the birds seem to want to christen them with a contribution of their own.
It all comes down to value for money, and we are getting that, we are also a bit out in the wilds so it is not like we are just next door to the last job they did.

Yep, £80 for 14 sash windows, each with 12 panes, outside AND in, twice a year at most (in Bath). It takes 5 hours.0

Our window cleaner charges £8 - this is to do 11 windows (including 2 sets of large patio doors).
He only comes every 2 months - this was at our request as I felt every month was too often.0 -
£30 for 24 plain windows. We're in the sticks in Kent. It won't be a regular event at that price.0
