Cant believe how stoooopid I am
Got caught out, had 109 pounds taken from my account blah blah..the usual.
Got angry and rang them
Returned the goods as they instructed and am now awaiting a refund.
Here is a copy of the email I have sent, sorry about the poor grammar and spelling but wadya expect from a moron who gave out her bloody bank details on an unsecured online form.:mad::mad:
fingers crossed eh
great advice from other users by the way, thanks:T:A
No outstanding monies withdrawn illegally by yourselves from my account have been refunded to me as of yet.
I was informed it would take 10 working days of the unwanted returned goods arriving back at your 'distribution centre' for the amount of £109.08 to be refunded to me.
I have contacted my bank who is aware of the severity of your company’s procedures and are awaiting the outcome of the outstanding amount being returned to me in the first instance
Goods were returned as per your companies instruction with proof of post and had the RMA# clearly visible on OUTSIDE of package and all relevant details enclosed ..
I am fully conversant with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) act 2000 and the (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and would not hesitate to contact the office of Fair trading, trading standards in the first instance if monies outstanding are not returned to my bank account
Yours SincerelySCHITT :mad:SCHITT:mad: SCHITT:mad:0 -

I would say it's a good idea to post warnings re. this type of situation but unfortunately it's a sad fact that people do not research companies/products prior to giving over their credit card details.
So your target audience are likeminded people who don't read terms and conditions.
Maybe so , maybe some people are just innocent and believe that others have values and integrity, maybe some people just get caught out, maybe some like me dont read the small print and learn a hard lesson. Goodness me it sound like you dwell on others misfortune. sorry if I may have got it wrong, but nearly everyone here has had a bad experience with these scammers, whats your story?SCHITT :mad:SCHITT:mad: SCHITT:mad:0 -
A realist .....are you affiliated in anyway to these scumbag companies? A sincere questionSCHITT :mad:SCHITT:mad: SCHITT:mad:0

Indeed and one of the tricks of scammy companies like dazzlewhite etc is to use different business names (Just Think Media, Gillmap Limited) and different payment processors so the charges are harder to spot, harder to track down and harder to stop - as you see names like 'Pristine Health' and have to try and work out who the hell that is! See some of the names used by dazzle white here:
DAZZLE SMILE, DAZZLE SMILE PRO Dazzle Smile Pro, Pristine Health, White Smile, Well B Health, Elite Pack, World Club Fitness, Weight Loss Resources, VHAccess, Beauty Pack, Weight Loss Research :
http://www.ripoffreport.com/Dental-Services/DAZZLE-SMILE-DAZZLE/dazzle-smile-dazzle-smile-pro-9e749.htm
(The same people also sell loads of other products and are being sued by Oprah (along with several other companies and individuals) for (allegedly) making false claims that she endorsed their Acai products)
There is even a website called dazzle white scam.
If you paid by credit card try and get your bank/card company to do a chargeback (refund) for non-delivery/breach of contract/failure to comply with distance selling regs etc."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

of everything that comes along their way."

Hi dizzyjuju, I thought the UK address was 9 Broom Hill, Stanley, DH9 8AZ Co Durham UK? At least according to the comments at this website:
http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/dazzlewhite-pro-teeth-c205771.html
The original dazzlewhite website (which gave their 'world headquarters' as being that address) is no longer working though..
Because of the thousands of complaints online they changed their name to dazzlesmilepro / dazzle smile pro or something but its the same company!
Maybe they changed their address then too?
If I lived locally I would be very tempted to go round out of curiosity, to ask them what is going on but I have no idea if anyone has!"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

Yep the Broomhill one is worth a look at as well, the other address is linked to all the other scam sites linked to the dirtbags who have lots of fingers in other scuzzy pies. Hubby is fuming, think hes going at weekend, just to say hello you understandSCHITT :mad:SCHITT:mad: SCHITT:mad:0 -

Aah, yes now I recognise that address - [24 Lumley Drive Delves Lane, County Durham Consett DH8 7OS] seems its linked to a lot of online scams - mostly work from home scams and several websites all registered to some guy in Utah in the USA called Steve Comer - see: http://strangelyperfect.tv/4308/google-revolution-different-name-same-scam/#comment-1589
It's also given as the address for another get rich quick scam called emillonaire which previously had an address in Florida! Something very dodgy definately going on here with all these scams linked to UK Ltd companies with addresses in County Durham!!
Might be worth contacting the local police to see what they say??"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

By the way, this is another site where people can fill in an online complaint form to alert the authorities to scams/fraud etc: www.fraud.org :The information you provide is automatically sent by electronic means to local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. They will handle it just as if you had contacted them directly. Since most agencies cannot take legal action on every individual complaint, they look for patterns of fraud. That’s why it’s so important to report it. We can’t make any guarantees about what will happen, but we know that the information that consumers provide is essential for stopping fraud. Since we do not conduct the investigations, we cannot give you a status report. If an agency wants more information or has something to tell you, it will contact you directly. www.fraud.orgProbably worth cutting and pasting the same info into www.econsumer.gov and submitting both.
Regarding Dazzle White - The BBB website (US) says:
"At this time, your BBB has not been able to contact this company. The toll free number is a call service that processes orders. Dazzle White was using an address listed in Idaho Falls, Idaho; location was a UPS Store. (mailbox)
In July 2009, the website listed a contract address out of the country. The World Headquarters address appears as Gillmap Limited 9 Broomhill, Stanley, DH9 8AZ Durham" (England)
