  • was scammed by the same company, and after reading all replies, think its time to call the bank. Hope the bank can do something.
  • OK - I have spoken to my bank and they are doing some sort of fraud enquiry thingy!

Guess what the product turned up this morning!!

And it's a compoletely different name Vivid White smiles if you want the website its that name with . c o m at the end.

So I phoned the bas***ds. 38 minutes later after speaking to someone then the supervisor I have got a $20 refund, was hoping for more, but they are like programmed machines, and you go round and round in bloomin circles!! Blah blah you didn't call within 10 days it's in the T&C's - oh whatever. Anyway It's better than nothing - and I have been assured I will have no more money taken from my account by them or any other company connected with them.

So let's see what happens - need to check the moneyb has actually gone in.

The number I called is 00 1 8888692674 - thats exactly how to call it from UK. Type into google cheap calls to Florida and you can find a 1p per minute number the one I used is 0844 869 9700.

    Hope this helps someone.
  • Hi Martin, I also fell for it, but with the colon cleanse pills, used that number and they have cancelled my subscription....I hope. The Link they sent in the email did not work but I phoned again to confirm cancellation. Will update if I am still being charged. Thanks again.
  • MarketVistaUK seem to have switched from the teeth whitening scam to acai berry weight loss and colon cleanse scams, offering £1250 for 'trial studies'. Luckily for me the amount on offer set alarm bells ringing - it seemed to good to be true, so of course, it was!

Can't believe it I have the same problem. Which number did you actually phone in the end? Was it the 08448699700 number? Thank you so much for your help.

Did you actually phone 0844 869 9700 and not 00 1 8888692674? Thank you so much:)

    Hi there

Did you phone the 0844 869 9700 number? This is just so horrible when you can't get hold of anyone to cancel. Can't believe I even fell for it. I have closed my whole account down. Thank you very much.

I think that number (0844 869 9700) is just a number of a cheap calls provider to save money on calls to the US, there are some more here from 0.5p a minute to USA:
    http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/usa

    eg: Discount Dial (0844 200 9090)

So you would dial: 0844 200 9090 wait for dialling tone then dial the US number. However as regards getting your money back the best bet is to ask your bank/credit card provider to do a chargeback:
    http://www.which.co.uk/advice/your-rights-when-paying-by-credit-card/chargeback-on-credit-and-visa-debit-cards/index.jsp

Also fill in this online complaint form for the US authorities as the company behind this (XM Brands) is being investigated by them. Make sure you mention XM Brands and any product names and websites they used:

  • Call one of those pennies a min lines like 0844 869 9700
    Then dial 00 1 888 787 9668 (customer services in USA)

You will be put through to some lovely americans who will try and get you to stay on the books with the subscription. Be persistant and so NO THANKS. They will tell you they are sending an email to you with a link to cancel. They do.

Click the link and fill out in lower case. The email shows what to fill in (they have it in whatever case you applied in), take off the 0 at the beginning of your phone number, and submit. Any issues, recall them up, they will walk though it with you, but if you still cant, they will cancel it for you on the phone, and will send you another email saying so. They do.

Do it now, as the 'free sample' may still be on its way to you, so get in there before they continue to take money!

All of you that have had monies taken, speak to your bank about claiming the charges back (especially if you have no product for $100 a month!)

If you have the products, call customer services again, have them send you an email with a return address. It may cost you to return them, but you will get your money back if the seals have not been broken!

  • BIG SCAM!!!!! I fell for it too. Today I first ordered the free trial of Dazling brite (or My true White Kit) and then I wanted to order the second one; Idol White.
It was on their website I saw something about the trial period and that you automatically would receive other deliveries and billings if you did not cancel within 10 day. So I did not proceed this order. But of course I knew that the first one I signed up for was the same scam.

I wanted to cancel immediately; you can only cancel by phoning them or send postal mail (they don’t have an email address). I am in the UK and of course when I phoned the number for the UK, I got a tape answering that the phone was now not in use or something like that.

I started to read the forums and comments and they were confirming it was a scam. I didn’t hesitate and I phoned my bank straight away and told them to cancel my Visa debit card. So I only lost the $3.87 (I hope)
Good way to start the weekend ……(( I hope I will never be this stupid again!!!!

Does anybody has an email address of the Dazzling white company? So I can send a cancellation email to them?

    Thanks.
