Ibuildwealth 866-8229626 : Ibuildwealth has been scamming people since at least 2008 according to complaints on this website.
CLN* Teethcs.Com+ +44 8708200066 US 139.11 USD : this number (it's a UK number: 870 820 0066) belongs to an Acai scam company in Florida called Viv3 Labs: http://viv3labs.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=view&parentcategoryid=9&nav=0
Visa is said to be cracking down on people's card details being passed on to other companies for multiple charges:
Visa clamps down on Web merchant data pass tacticsVisa Inc. (NYSE: V) announced today it is taking another step in an ongoing effort to protect consumer security and confidence in the payment system by prohibiting web merchants from providing cardholder information to other companies without the consumer's knowledge or active consent.

Chances are though that these are all the same scam company using different names and merchant accounts."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

Hi, it looks like I have been scammed too. I purchased a tooth whitening kit, nearly two weeks ago, called EVERWHITE. They tried to to take £57.00 from my account, in the last couple of days, but my bank got in contact with me immediately and blocked the payment. They are sending me out a new debit card, so I suppose I've been lucky really. What I want to do though is email this company and cancel the order/ subscription, but I don't know the the email address in order to contact them. Does anyone know by any chance?
Thanks, Raizen.0 -
my daughter also got conned by the tooth whitening scam. they are the lowest of the low. my daughter is 18 at college and works hard at a weekend job. they took all the wages that she had saved.
got in contact with her bank (lloyds) they were absolutely fantastic and returned all of the money to her account immediately. cannot thank them enough
Big thumbs up to Lloyds bank. :T0 -
This is a common "scam" run by quite a few companies. I say "scam" as if you actually READ the T&C's it mentions it in there. They are simply relying on you not reading them. Unfortunately, it's your own fault
these scammers prey on the more vulnerable members of society who don't have much money to begin with. this kind of comment is completely useless and of no help to anyone0 -
I fell for this this morning and I know it's my own fault for not reading T & C (feel very stupid) - I cannot contact the company to cancel none of the numbers work: 1-866-445-3661 or 1-866-777-8751 or 441617680100
Any ideas anyone?
Accepting payments but just want to ensure no further transactions.

The ffirst two numbers are in the US. The third number is in manchester so you should be dialling 01617680100. See if that works.:cool:0

Those are the numbers linked with XM Brands in Florida, USA - have you contacted the Florida Attorney General, who is investigating them?

Hi, thank you for contacting us.
>
> We need 15 participants that are willing to test a popular teeth whitening product on a daily basis for fourteen days.
>
> This teeth whitening product has been promoted on many T.V stations across the USA, being endorsed by popular US celebrity Kim Kardashian. As the product is going through a trial launch in the UK, we have been fortunate enough in receiving a handful of free trials.
>
> If you plan to participate then the following needs to be done:
>
> 1) You must visit our website at: , complete the following short form and you will receive your free teeth whitening product. Depending on your location, there may be a slight postage & packaging fee, this small charge will be reimbursed at the end of the 14 days. Once you have filled out the short form on the website, you will be taken to a second page where you should apply the coupon code SMILE. The advertiser has informed us that this will give our UK trialists almost free postage and packaging, only costing around $3(£1.90) instead of $6..
>
> 2) After you have submitted your order for the free trial, please email us back with your name, confirmation/order number, phone number and your address.
>
> 3) Once you have received the free trial, we will then contact you with product testing time frames, informing you when you need to use the product during the 14 day trial period.
>
>
> Requirements:

> 1) Must be aged 18+
>
> 2) Must be willing to have teeth photo shot of their mouth if required, i.e. before and after use, no face shot will be taken. ( Participants can take a mouth pic of their own mouth if required )

>
> * Spots are filling up quickly, so to reserve your spot, get your trial ASAP. We are being contacted by dozens of people each hour. As you have received this email it means there is still a spot available for you, failure to claim your spot within 24 hours will almost definitely mean it will be reserved for someone else.
>
> You will receive a payment of £1250.00 at the end of your free trial for your participation , a photo shoot will take place at yet to be confirmed Hotel location local to you.
>
>
> This study is being undertaken by MarketVistaUK, who are in no way connected to the manufacturer of the product. Our trial testing will be to see whether the product would be successful for launch in the UK by companies who wish to co brand the product which is patented under US law. Please do not call the teeth whitening company asking any questions regarding this product study, because their employee personnel will be unaware of it.

What was their email address and website url? Sounds like fraud to me - have you reported it to the police?
Was it via an ad on gumtree which you placed or replied to?
