I'm more than aware of the reviews on Ciao, many of which are untrue, some of which are undoubtedly posted by competitors and most of which can be explained as irate customers who did not get their own way and threatened to trash our reputation.
I think the only response I have is that as I mentioned, tens of thousands of happy customers use us every month and somewhere like Ciao is always going to attract the unhappy ones, and of course it would be impossible to have a perfect company.
Each and every retailer on there is equally denigrated.“Official Company Representative

Strange - those reviews are just like the ones for all the other CPW subsidiary outfits like e2save/osps which they claim they are not one of!0 -

I'm not going to drag this out any further, so thanks for your (incorrect) claims and thoughts and have a good day.
If you cannot understand the difference between a Trading Style and a Wholly Owned Subsidiary then why do you keep on commenting on it?“Official Company Representative

Plenty to contradict this in your Ts + Cs:
10.7 If you would like us to tell you what information we hold about you, please write to: The Data Protection Office, The Carphone Warehouse Limited at 1 Portal Way, London, W3 6RS.

"We can confirm your Cashback has been authorised and the cheque has been requested from Carphone Warehouse Head office.
Please allow 28 days for your cheque to be generated and dispatched to you."
Now, isn't it strange that THIS one says a) 28 days, b) "has been requested from Carphone Warehouse Head Office" (i.e. NOT from some external organisation as you previously made a point of stating to try to deflect the argument) AND arrived 7 days after the one stating the claim had been processed (i.e. not 4). Further, the "processed" stage was actually FOURTEEN days AFTER your email confirming receipt.
SO - where does YOUR stated timescale have ANY relevance to what you are ACTUALLY DOING? My cheque is obviously going to be arriving nearer two months after you received it rather than one. If you don't think that is "relevant" to people enquiring on here about the reliability of your company or what the meaning is of the words you produce then you really should go back to school - or continue working for cpw (your ultimate employer whatever you may claim).
So, your cheque is arriving, we sent it within the 30 days we quoted for sending (even though delivery may take longer, which I already explained I'm working to speed up), we emailed you at every opportunity to update you on the progress and the confirmation of the cheque being sent was emailed to you 21 days after receipt of your claim?
Good to see you're happy with your new mobile and the redemption process, and we look forward to helping you in future.
The reason the secure printing company isn't mentioned, by the way, is because they're a secure printing company.
I never claimed not to work for Carphone Warehouse, I was simply explaining why Mobiles' CCJs couldn't be listed under CPW due to the different way Mobiles is set up to other, similar subsidiaries of CPW.

It seems you still can't add up or even read. 28 days, not 21; the cheque has NOT been issued within 30 days and it appears you now blame the post office for not meeting your own t&c (despite the clear fact they cannot deliver what you still haven't posted!). As for not claiming to work for cpw, you definitely made an effort to show that your company (mobiles) is quite separate from cpw.
You don't do as you say and what you actually do is more important than idle words.
As for your competitor (the main one being Phones4u - how many disgruntled customers can you find on their threads in the last two years? Even more interestingly, how many for each 100 having problems with cpw companies? Must be all those Phones4u employees pretending to be angry customers of E2Save etc...
Only a cpw spokesperson could come to thwe conclusion that I am happy with my new mobile (which I haven't even mentioned) and the cashback process (which I have!).0 -

fourteen + 7 = 21.“Official Company Representative

Thanks. Could have sworn YOUR email said "28". Maybe the copy function doesn't work on my computer...
Actually, when I went to school, 7 + 4 + 28 = 39 (ignoring the fourteen between receipt and processing, which actually therefore makes 53).0 -
Seems like a breach of contract.
Do a search for LBA and MCOL. (In other cpw subsidiary problem threads)0 -
Just to give my 2 cents on mobiles.co.uk, I recently ordered a Nokia N97 on Orange, my claim was too passed to the 'quality team' for checks, the phone was then with me then next day, and the £70 cashback was with me 2 weeks later, so I'm very happy0
