it's horrible when everything is up in the air am sure you'll get your DLA and hopefully the court case will be sorted soon..as for the holiday it may be a good idea as you can really suss them out then

I agree with taxi - holiday might be a good way to get to know them better! And if it's not till easter you'll have met them again before then. You deserve a hol!!

I survived the day at school, thou was absolutely shattered, I hold my hat off to anyone in teaching profession, DD's teacher is leaving in July, shes had enough, (can't blame her), and shes just been for interview for a TA, shes just texted shes got it... apparently they interviewed 3 and the other 2 were teachers as well.
I managed to read with 24 children, and do 4 sets of 1 to 1 work with children that need extra help.... so funny as the 1st kid he thinks I'm brilliant as he works with me instead of going to assembly, he came in half way through lunch break ready to work.

What fun and games was due to go to hydro therapy pool, rang to say there a slot, great, but as knee got worse, there concerned that I'd be a health and safety risk getting out of the pool... and as having x-ray next week, now got to wait for GP approval. Sure I've got a reserved seat at the docs.

The woman phoned from cafcass, were going Mon after school, but that means were unlikely to see the report before the court case on Thurs.. thinking of taking bets as to whether he will appear.

Very mse earlier, made my 1st card, - its the brothers first wedding anniversay 2mor, and thought be nice to send one, sounds daft but feel at ease with them, and they think the world of DD, they asked what to get her for bday, and they hadn't given a price range, its not the thing you can really ask, so suggested could do a list and they could pick and choose. They were ova moon with that, and have asked if she hasnt got one could they mobile as her main present, and some items off the list... sounds like shes going to get spolit rotten. She's already got a phone, bless her.

We've got the school summer fete on Sat, and then were booked in for carboot sun, great plan is to get remainder of prague money, before dad realises he's paid for the lot. Have decided to say yes to Alicante, it only be a week, and give us chance to get to know each other better, then mum said we're ring the lady whose caravan we had at easter and book for 2 weeks main summer hols. So be a very mse yr. xx

At last some absolutely brilliant news.... I got my award letter from DLA, and they have renewed at current rate, which is absolutely amazing, as I wasn't expecting to be this lucky, even better, they have given it me indefinately. This is a massive massive weight off my shoulders and mean that I can finally get my finances into some sort of order.
This is my plan.

Cut sky package - we're on movies £48 pm, (then on the other hand, don't go out that often, but don't watch more than 2 films a month - so thats being reduced).

Make £140 to cover the prague holiday (hopefully be car boots etc and ebay).

Go throu all my paperwork and work out current debts from this months statements, (know I'm £80 short on loan), but they been in touch and there willing to help.

Get back in touch with CCCS (pop my feet in, not just dipping my toe in) and use them as back up for dmp plan, the plan is to try and self manage as there only be small reduction on payments and over x amount time the payments should equal what they need to be - meet in the middle. That need a bit of working out.

Review birthday and xmas list, (know all bdays bar DD and dad done), then look at xmas, and budget what is left, and set a realistic budget for family.

Start stripping bedroom out, and then be strict in the ebaying bag, every penny will help.

Start putting money up monthly for DD ballet, so don't get surprise bill, as shopping vouchers dried up, then have to pay ballet.

Work out what owe parents, and what need to replace in savings, put a small amout up for that, know techinally should go of debts, but need to have a cushion for car etc.

We're having some time just me and dd away before mum + dad come down, so want to make it quality time.

Got my OU starting in Sept, so got to get my head into studying time frame.

It may sound silly but it feels like I've been given a lifeline, and boy do I intend to use it. x

knew there had to be a downfall, found out tonight that dd is being bullied at school, shes been moody most of the week, put down to the cafcass visit etc, but she came home 2ngt in tears, the class bully, who looks like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth has started on dd, calling her names, threatening her, its unbelievable, as there has been so many compliants about this girl for the last few yrs, but the parents complain on the playground and wont take it any further, one of the children told me this week that the girl had her hands round another girls throat, even thou other kids told the teacher, the kid it happened to didnt say anything she was to scared to, this is a group of 7/8 yr olds... luckly in school mon am,different class but do intend to pop + c dds teacher.

That's terrible! I'd hate to think that was going on with children in my class and no one was telling me. I'm sure teacher will appreciate hearing about it. Although it's nearly time to break up for summer teachers will be doing handover of information to new teachers and this girl clearly needs monitoring. Hope DD feels better soon, you're lucky that you have such a good relationship that she's been able to talk to you about it all. xx
