Had a spend free weekend, started gutting DD's bedroom, - we got bin bag of stuff to chuck, 2 carrier bags for the charity, and 1 bag of clothes for her friend. normally save some clothes for ebaying, but as madams fad has been labels have to be cut out they itch... off to her friends they go.

Been organised again today (getting worrying), wrapped up birthday presents for June, and all the fathers day, gets complicated, when add all the grandads into the equation, but sure grandad in Ireland be happy as it be his 1st of DD. Everything seems to be working out really well with them this time around, there coming across end of June, so DD will be meeting them, so going to arrange a trip out, so be less pressure on everyone.

Still plodding along with this OU - got to be finished by next Wed, get there... There was some gd news with OU, thou when 1st read the email was worried sick, said about withdrawal - having a panic I was being kicked off, but no the version of the business degree doing ends in 2014, but the new version starts from Sept, and it actually works out better for me to do the new version, as then i don't have to redo the course that I failed, (save £500).

Not much more going on, just waiting for everything else to fall into place and we're be fine, just hoping the ex misses his deadline for the lifestory, as surely the court should see through him by now....

Never mind, DD of to a funday 2mor with her best friend and her family, so be day on the books for me!. xx

Can't believe how quick the week has flown by, we got DD's bedroom decorated, the posh name for the paint is Orchid Plaza, but it quite a bright pink... why do the colour cards always look different. It looks great, shes sorted out her bedding, shes grown out of some of the designs, (did need to go soon!), and her tinkerbell curtains, (either ebay or carboot), she hasn't got her furniture up yet, but the good news her friend is having DDs wardrobe and bedside cabnet, so hopefully dad get the furniture built this week.

This tidying up is getting worried, we decided to gut the airing cupboard, - ended up with big bag of old curtains, quilt covers etc, going to sewing club at school, old towels and blankets now have a new home at local dogs trust. That looks lot better.

My room - bombs hit it.... work in progress.... pass, get done eventually!!

OU - half way through draft copy, so plan is finish the rough tomorrow and start typing up, got tight week next week, in school 1 1/2days, then a govenerors meeting.

DD had a good week, she had a day at her friends playing, we met her godmother for a meal, then we took her + friend to Wonderland, bit like a big park, few kids rides, but it was uphill, absolutely shattered me, saved £31 as we had free pass.
So we were going to call at one of the 2 for £10 pubs, then we drove past another pub cavery pub, wasn't Toby ones. Adults carvery Mon- Sat £3.99. We stopped there, me and dad upgraded ours to large, only £1 exyra, we had 4 slices meat, choice of 3 roasts (mix + match), the chef did the yorkshire puds and stuffing - then you helped yourself to rest. It was a 10/10 meals, DD had kids carvery, her friend had Pizza, the kids meals included pud and was only £3.49. Even the adult puds were really reasonable, I had fudge cake it was £1.85, dearest pud was £2.75.
Then were off to Blists Hill Victorian Town, we've got free adult passes, taking another of her friends, - then looked at the price £10 for kids!! or £15 for a yr pass, so for DD get her the yr pass, as when her Irish grandparents come over, were going there for the day. (we've got free passes).

The most weird thing happened, I nearly passed out in shock, had a message from DDs dads, ex-wife (gets complicated) to apologise for me for everything that I had been put through with him, and that she has finally got him to admit adultery, but shes not using me (long story he said she'd left him, by the time found out the truth Miss Hoodie was on the way, she hadn't left him, she was at her majestys pleasure). shes using his new partner, and if theres anything I ever needed just to shout.

    Def a shocking moment!!

had my new glasses today, was lucky enough to get the free pr from lensway, (on the mse mail a couple weeks ago) they are absolutely brilliant, I can't fault them, even there basic lenses are thinner than standard opticians. Got them as a spare, but really pleased.

Money wise, we're plodding along a bit, theres some coming in this week and will be going out twice as quick!! but hopefully all going in the right direction, know won't be achieving debt free by Nov 2015, be later, but keep plodding away, every £1 paid is a pound less, being positive.

Bailey was 2 yesterday, so he had a birthday cake brought him, he's being taken to toys r us, so he can choose his birthday present... we do have a spoilt pooch!! xx

Still working throu this lovely assisgnment... be finished 2mor night!!

What a surprise, checking an old email address use, and had forgetten that I had originally set up a facebook account, but never did anything with it, then set one with main email, having a clearout of emails addys, and what a surprise I had a friend request from him, - old email account from 2 weeks ago. More annoyed as he not allowed to contact me unless it through solicitors. Guessing he was on a fishing trip.
We've got arrangements to meet the grandparents, apparently it slipped out on the phone when they were arranging to see him and his family when they come, so apparently thats caused a family bust he, - half expecting some backlash now. So decided for safety to change the arrangements of where were going,

DD got a mood on her, as shes tired from Monday, we went to Blists hill, Victorian town, - then shes realised that its a new teacher next yr, and this teacher is flavour of the month!!
Shes so funny, when she spoke to the grandparents last week, they said they were bringing a present across for her what would she like, she pipes up money!! (thats my daughter!!).

Some more money off the debts today, some more Friday, in one hand out the other too quick!! getting there, not looking forward to Julys money, cross that bridge if and when.

Better get some beauty sleep, got full day in at school 2mor!! xx

  • One thing that never fails to shock me is the times of day you post :D I didn't know there was a time of day at 2.20am and I definitely wouldn't be talking sense if I was still awake then! How do you function on such little sleep. I am dreadful if I don't get 8 hours. I am looking at the clock now getting twitchy that I news to go to bed :p

Ha ha, a bit of backlash in that general direction is unfortunate but mildy amusing  Definitely change the arrangements now though ;)

hope you managed to get the work done :)

I keep terrible hours, thou do have to confess I have the odd afternoon nap if I shattered.
New arrangements made, got 3 routes to the main road from where we going, so if push comes to shove we're get a headstart.

I've been organised 2day, got dads fathers day card, as DD grabbed the one I'd got for him , for a bit of fun, got his a toilet roll, saying dads roll, and pictures of a bloke coming out the loo, with a little person in a suit saying bio-harzard - only 99p in Card Factory, so be so funny.

Then had a govenerors meeting 2ngt, 2 hrs, half of it went over my head, the woman behind me looked like she was catching 40 winks!!

Apart from nipping to the bank 2mor, I do not intend to do anything.

had some news, my furniture is being delievered on Mon by Argos, can't wait, (not due to 28th June), hope its the right one!! xx

  • Hi Mum 2 one, I too am a mum to one! and have just read a few of your most recent posts. I empathise with being diagnosed with post traumatic stress as I have just been and like you had thought that sort of diagnosis is for soldiers and similar!!! Clearly not! also with the sleep patterns which for me are also quite erratic. So, you are doing a terrific job and well done!

Thank you positive and focused, I know it sounds daft but when I was expecting DD I would never dream of 40 winks, - but now sod it, sometimes you just have to.

Not much going on here, have had letter in reply to my complaint on the cafcass report, obviously not as brilliant as I wanted, but good part is the report has to amend 2 "major elements" (which will now be beneficial to me), and the person concerned has been reported to their boss for what they did, thats being fully investgaged, and this person has to apologise to both me and DD for one element of actions, as breach of trust and confidence was breached. They then also have to apologise to the court, and they may be called to give evidence on why they did what they did.

I've been given a further option of continuing with the complaint, but I although I feel this person deserves to loose their job it was that serious what she did, sorry if it riddles, would be a lot easier to say x,y,z happened, but because of the legalities of the report, I have to keep quiet! but whether take it further will depend on what the solicitors say.

We did a car boot today, checked the weather last night and it was dry, rain at dinnertime, thought great be home by then, got up at 6am, there was already cars there, got there at 630am, by 730am the heavens opened, - by 745 cars were leaving, so we then packed up, and went and a bacon roll.......... we sold the grand sum £1.50......... and it was DDs stuff that went.........now look like rudolph with a red nose. xx

  • I have been sorting stuff out for a car boot all weekend but when I saw the weather forecast we postponed it, it has rained here pretty much all day since I woke up this morning! It will probably be a few weeks now, but at least we can be sorting more stuff out. Might have a go with some stuff on eBay beforehand :D

I definitely think it needs to be said regarding the Cafcass complaint, if they do not know, they cannot rectify it and as you say, if you need to refer to it in Court it all needs to be on the record :)
    Just keep swimming!
