As usual what a farce, he didn't turn up to court, as apparently he couldn't get there on time....... he can only come after 2pm, that went down like a lead ballon!!
managed to put a temporary stop to letters, but have had to agree to him doing a life book, he has a month to do that........ then that be given to DD at a cafcass room, then I get a copy........ they do a report on her feelings
then we have to go back to court again after all that.
For hecks sake, he hasn't turned up to 2 court hearings, that should tell ou something, but as they say the law is an !!!!!!

Oh blimey! Hmmm could you not say to your lawyer that this is putting too much stress on DD and it is verging on abuse?

I've tried saying that I didn't want her interviewed, but that was at the choice of the cafcass officer, when I mentioned the report to DD last night, she was in hell of a state, - theres a lot to that - hence an official complaint is going to Cafcass and also my MP, (might as well aim high), shes a bag of nerves over it, so we've not told her that we have dates for the book and what she has got to go through, - don't want to tell she be a bag of nerves.

Unfortunately I have an "old school" type solicitor, unfortuntaley I can't change firms, due to the legal aid certificate and that that firm has dealt with it back from 2002, (we've gone through a few solicitors), no other local firm will touch it with a bargepole.

Sorry to hear that it's not over yet for you and DD.Hope you manage to get some joy from higher up.Maybe he won't even bother doing the life book and then DD won't have to see it.

Thats what we're hoping, but cross that bridge when we get there. xx

apparently the life book is all about his family and him and the relationship and photos - quite funny, warned his parents that he may suddenly ask for photos and info, so there going to crack on daft, at the mo he's not aware we're in contact.

It sticks out a mile that he's playing mind games, - what makes it slightly to his advantage, if his the original letters, or his solicitor gives him copies, when DD was 3 months old, I was diagnosed with post tramtic stress disorder - there was me thinking only troops got it, but mine was posh version as I had flashbacks... that was our then ace card and blocked his access. He then disappeared into oblivion.... feel bit better, just fired a 5 page complaint letter to cafcass, and luckly (Im sad or organised), kept all solicitors letters, so photocopied them, so I've been able to back up allegations I made so Monday morning its being hand delievered.

All fun and games.

Didn't help, had a letter from internet company saying they've not taken 2 months of money!! - a few choice words and I've got £30 credited to my account.

Quick update - we hand delievered the letter, had a phone call Thursday, saying it had been recieved, then had to re-go through why i was making the compliant... think a 5 page letter, plus appendixes says it all!!

They've told me its being investigated and they have 10 working days, I'll get an undated opinion, then if I'm still not happy there be another link to complain.

Apparently there should have been checks made on the allegations that i made, ie doctors, hospital, school, police etc, and none of this was done. TAt least its being taken seriuosly.

Money wise were just on head above water, - just gone over the 4k mark, so really pleased with that, and in the last month i have only spent £5 on the credit card, that was a pair of the weighing scales, for suitcases etc, - figured there an investment, so plzed with that.

Been in at school, cooking..... working with different groups from DDs class, it went pretty well, quite pleased, just shattered now!
